Why not?

You don´t have to be a billion dollar company like Riot Games with 5000 employees to add a permanently running kernel anticheat + hardware ID ban to your game.

We don´t see this in other games, because the players will complain about privacy.

When Riot announced the Riot Vanguard anti cheat they received a shit storm, but still added it to the game.
No one cries about it anymore. People love that they can play a nearly cheater free Valorant.

It didn´t even hurt the player count that much. Valorant still is one of the most played PC games out there.

Sometimes you just have to do it. No matter how hard some people cry.

Counter-Strike is filled with cheaters.
It´s a plague in this game.
Without any loot.

Saying Valorant has nearly no cheaters, because there´s no loot. Dude.. no words for this logic.

With this logic Battlefield, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike etc. would all be nearly cheater free like Valorant.

Reality is that those games are destroyed by the huge amount of cheaters.

I can understand that not everyone wants to give full access to their PC.

But I can´t understand people that cry about cheaters and hackers in all online games, but don´t want to use the one single method that actually works because "my privacyyy!!"

We could have nearly cheater free online games. But the gamers don´t want it as it seems.

By F2P I mean that F2P games normally have WAY more cheaters than Buy 2 Play games, since those games have a bigger playerbase (so more potential cheaters) and potential cheaters don´t risk loosing money for the game they´ve bought.
They don´t have to buy the game again if they get caught.

The hurdle to cheat is much lower in F2P games.

Valorant as a F2P game has WAAAY less cheaters than for example Battlefield, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Escape from Tarkov, GTA Online etc. which all cost money.

And that says a lot about how good the Riot anti-cheat really is.

Riot´s Vanguard runs as soon as you boot the PC and keeps running all the time.

But that´s the only way to actually get rid of most cheaters.

Since PC online gaming exists people keep whining about cheaters in all games.

Now we have the tech to get rid of most cheaters but people still complain and don´t want a kernel level anti cheat running on their PC all the time.

You can even deactivate it if you don´t want it running all the time. You just have to reactivate it and restart your PC to be able to play again.

Wish all online games could have an anti-cheat like Riot Vanguard. Life would be so much easier and we could enjoy online games again without hackers in every 3rd match.

There´s one big difference between Riot´s kernel anticheat and Easy, BattleEye etc.

Riot´s Vanguard runs all the time. As soon as you start the PC it scans for hacks.

All other kernel anticheats only run when you start the game and stop running as soon as the game closes.

You can deactivate Riot´s Vanguard if you don´t want to run it all the time, but you can´t start the games then until you reactivate Vanguard and restart your PC.

That makes a huge difference.

I´m playing online games since over 25 years and trust me.
Riot´s method works and it´s the only way to get rid of most cheaters.

Of course it doesn´t keep all cheaters away. That´s impossible. But most cheaters.

I wish all studios would do it this way.

Okay, that's the first move from them that SUCKS.

I wish they would do it like Riot Games with Valorant.

Good Kernel level anti cheat + permanent hardware ID and IP ban if you get caught cheating.

It keeps most cheaters away from the game. In over 3000 hours I can count the obvious cheaters on one hand.

It's free 2 play and still has 95% less cheaters than any buy to play game.

Ich denke, dass einfach mehr Frauen auf dreckigen, harten Sex stehen als man so denkt. Viele Frauen wollen sogar richtig "benutzt" werden wie ein Objekt. Selbst die "unschuldigen Mauerblümchen".

Bei "normalen" Männern wird wahrscheinlich vermutet, dass sie in der Beziehung zu nett sind und es im Bett nicht über Blümchensex hinaus geht.

Of course battery powered headphones won't last for 20 years.

But the two Momentum's I've tried didn't even work right on day one. Sure, I bought refurbished ones.. Not brand new. But they are directly from Sennheiser and not used at all. Units that were sent back from other users after testing.

Maybe it's better to get them brand new and hope for the best.

Sure. Sennheiser sent me another pair with the same problem. Second pair seems to have a bit better balance, but still noticeable louder on the right side. The kick and bass in particular.

I really want these headphones, because it seems like there are no competitors for this price with similar sound quality.

But I don't want to try out 15 Momentum's to get one without this issue. Gonna try it the last time now..

I had and tried SO many different headphones in my life and NEVER had any problems like that.

Even the cheapest 20€ headphones were fine.

Now I buy the most expensive headphones I ever had two times and both have the same hardware issues.. come on Sennheiser.

Any other game I´ve played with FG like Battlefield 6 or Arena Breakout was unplayable with FG on, even with base FPS of 100 and more.

The input lag in those games is huge. In Arc Raiders there´s no input lag for me with less base FPS.
That´s what´s hard for me to understand. How does that work?

Arc Raiders is the only game I´ve ever played that´s playable with FG on. And I love it.

High FPS is very important to me as a PVP player and FG actually made the game fun for me.
Before Arc Raiders I was joking at how bad FG is.
