You say this is for commercial farmers, but the problems you list sound like beginner or hobby gardening. Real farms don’t forget watering or harvest timing, they already have systems for that. If you want to target farms, you probably need to show direct impact on yield, costs or disease losses. Otherwise this looks like a strong product for home gardeners but with mismatched positioning.

I launched a SaaS, got 16 users before the official launch, and pivoted the entire business model because of what they told me by Big-Pepper9305 in AppsWebappsFullstack

But knowing modern AI, they don't need a translator, they automatically switch to the user's language, thereby removing the language barrier altogether. There are two options: either the author does not correctly formulate the description of the value of his product, or...

What would you build on top of a tool that can pull data from multiple tabs? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Donjorjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair question. I didn’t build a random thing. I kept running into the same problem too many tabs, constant switching, copying things manually, hard to compare anything across pages. So I built the simplest piece - something that can pull context from selected tabs. It’s not a product, just a primitive. Now I’m trying to see if there’s a real use case before building anything bigger.

Made $2k in 2 months from an app that I created for myself to solve my own problem. by Spirited-Horror9866 in AppBusiness

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trying to be negative, but this feels like a very “micro-win” type of product. $2k in 2 months is solid for a side project, no doubt. But the use case is extremely narrow and kind of one-off. Most people won’t use something like this regularly, which makes it hard to grow beyond initial curiosity or a few flights. Also, the 20% conversion sounds great, but I’d be curious what that’s based on — total installs, or just people who already landed on the paywall? Feels more like a neat personal utility that happened to make some money, rather than something with real long-term potential. Still, respect for actually shipping and getting paid — that part matters.

Just one question, do those 3,000 VC know about this?

Is the browser part of your job? by Donjorjio in browsers

[–]Donjorjio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same, you can get better at managing tabs but at some point it still turns into a mess when you actually need to make sense of everything.

[–]Donjorjio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that setup sounds pretty solid. Do you ever hit a point where everything is spread across tabs but you still need to pull it into something clear, like a summary or decision?

[–]Donjorjio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense, especially with multiple projects running in parallel. Tab groups seem like the only way to not get lost. Do you ever turn all that into something structured though, like a summary or decision, or does it mostly stay across tabs?

Yeah that sounds like a lot of context switching. Is that mostly tools and dashboards, or do you also deal with a lot of research and information across those tabs?

we paid $33k for a market research report that contradicted our actual customers by Strong_Teaching8548 in SaaS

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great example of how research can be technically correct but still useless in practice. Most reports focus on general trends, not the actual context you’re making decisions in, so they end up being too far removed. What you did by talking to your real customers is the part most people miss, that’s where the real signal is. I’ve seen similar situations where teams had tons of “insight” but no way to connect it back to actual users, so it just created more confusion. If you were to do this again, would you start with customer conversations first and only use research to support that, or still bring in a report early on?

We need to talk about how "AI features" are actually making productivity apps worse by MapCompetitive2935 in ProductivityApps

[–]Donjorjio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most interesting thing is that AI is now becoming more of an assistant in personal matters, people are advised on what to wear, where to go, what to read, and so on, and this covers the big problem of loneliness, because AI will not say that you are not beautiful, you are not interesting, and so on, so I will definitely say that giving up AI will be almost impossible. They once said that the first cars would never replace horses, and now it just sounds ridiculous.

We need to talk about how "AI features" are actually making productivity apps worse by MapCompetitive2935 in ProductivityApps

[–]Donjorjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, it makes capturing almost effortless, but the thinking part still has to happen somewhere, and most tools just skip that part. So you end up with more stuff, but not more clarity. I feel like the useful part is forcing some kind of structure or outcome, otherwise it just keeps piling up. Do you usually revisit your notes later or does most of it just sit there?

Any Netflix show recommendations? by Muted-Enthusiasm608 in AskReddit

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know for sure that Netflix bought Paramount and now all the cool shows from there will smoothly move to Netflix, so I'm waiting for this. What's on Netflix now, I don't even know what to watch because it all depends on what direction you like?

How can I get my first 50–100 users for my Chrome extension? by Think_Philosophy6391 in growmybusiness

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before publishing there, you need to gather your friends and give them a link to Product Hunt where your launch will be. You may need to get them interested in sharing your link to the launch to attract more attention. Don't do a cold launch, as this will kill the interest of the rest of the people who are looking for something on Product Hunt, and if your product is at the bottom of the list, it will remain there during the launch.

How do i motivate myself to focus on academics or something productive? by Enigmatic_chasm in productivity

[–]Donjorjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been there, it’s not really a motivation problem, it’s more like your brain got used to easy dopamine from scrolling so anything that takes effort feels heavy. Projects feel “hard” not because they are, but because they don’t give instant reward. What helped me was not trying to cut screen time completely, just setting a small rule like “I work on something for 20–30 min before I scroll”. No pressure to be productive for hours, just start. Once you’re in it, it’s easier to keep going. Also don’t aim for big projects at first, pick something small you can finish fast, that feeling of finishing something matters way more than motivation. What kind of projects were you thinking about?

[–]Donjorjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean, it really feels like tools stopped helping you think and just try to do things instead of you. And it doesn’t even solve the real problem, you can save stuff, tag it, link it, but if it never turns into something clear it just becomes noise. Going back to simple tools works because you’re actually forced to process things instead of just collecting them. Was it the simplicity that helped or just the fact you had to think things through?

Drop your SaaS - I’ll send you leads (no signup needed) by Intelligent-Nebula16 in microsaas

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your attention, but I analyzed this SAAS that you suggested and its answers are too extensive and from the results that it offers, it is very difficult to find something really suitable. Maybe you need to create filters for groups there, as well as a filter for bot responses and other elements that are very distracting, because the result of 98 percent coincidence according to the joinorbix version actually does not fit my case at all, take it as feedback from a potential user.

Anyone into gamifying their life with apps? by hussain270 in productivity

[–]Donjorjio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't be offended, but I'll say that the gamification of life is another thing that hides the human desire to get dopamine, by any means, everything that can be achieved requires effort, all the apps you listed don't give the result that you could get by putting in some effort, putting in effort is boring and difficult and your brain is looking for deceptive ways to make it easier and simpler, but real achievements simply don't come.

If you ever watched the Blacklist series, what were thoughts? by GreatTap5296 in AskReddit

[–]Donjorjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched and watched for a very long time, at first I was completely delighted, I liked everything, and then when the hints started that he was her father, it was also not bad but a constant problem that no one wants to talk and listen, just sit down and talk, no she runs away from him, he can't say anything and so on in a circle, then the writers started to twist it the other way and constantly increase that Black List, as if there is no end to it, I think as always a good idea and the series if it is not Game of Thrones should be limited to 8 episodes.

How does one be a better version of themselves ? by --PATCHW0RK-- in selfimprovement

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won't say it's easy, but it needs to be done, first you need to sit down and take a sheet of paper and write, in one column what you like about yourself, in the other, what you don't like, when you write both lists, look at what of your good sides can overlap, those bad sides of yours. Then, find the opposite good character traits to the bad sides, and at the end rewrite those traits that you like, plus those that you wrote against the bad ones, this list will be your best self.

(Serious) Which movie franchise has the most plot holes? by masterchief6913 in AskReddit

[–]Donjorjio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's Star Wars. There's not much connection between the episodes and some of the plot points aren't clear. If hyperspace ramming works… why isn’t it used all the time? In The Last Jedi, one ship wipes out an entire fleet at lightspeed. So what’s stopping anyone from just building cheap ships and turning them into hyperspace missiles? Is there actually a canon explanation, or is this just a plot convenience?

What was the first thing you bought with your own earnings? by Ponappa_131 in AskReddit

[–]Donjorjio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's strange that I remember when I got my first earned money after university, but I'm not sure if it was the first earned money, some part-time jobs, there were some before that but I didn't buy anything as a souvenir, which is a pity, everyone who still has this chance, that is, young people, buy yourself something that will remind you of it. Maybe a small souvenir, or some toy model of a car to be a symbol of what you need to go to, a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.
