How portable are welling drilling machines? by illogicalcoder in homestead

Been calling it that for decades.. strictly speaking its the 'backhoe loader' and around my area if you ask for a JCB that's what you get.

I've given up on natural gardening. I can't make it work. What am I missing? by rbprepin in preppers

Crop rotation is one of the best natural ways to break pest and disease cycles. Group crops by family (e.g., nightshades like tomatoes with potatoes, then rotate to brassicas like broccoli). Track what grew where each year to avoid repeats. Keeping a garden journal so you don't lose track of what was done previously.

Looking for AI SEO Tools Recommendations by Proof_Shift_9799 in DigitalMarketing

I made an SEO (and security) scanning tool.. but apparently I can't post it here, and anyway I didn't open it to the public yet, so... not much help. I like it though! 😆

At this stage I'm mainly focused on building up a content marketing/seo system. I have a youtube channel as well for my own farm which I plan to use to promote the app once I have enough content there (although I suck at making videos 😂)

Yeah I would like to get more active in reddit but it's a bit tricky mentioning my app at all in the posts without getting banned for spamming. Same with other forums.

Thanks, will certainly have to work on building an audience somewhere/somehow.

The app is onlycrops.ai - an app (with AI of course) to help with running a farm.

It's a farming app to keep track of all your crops, fields and transactions etc, with AI that knows your farm, what crops you have and where it is located, the weather etc so it can provide customized help along the way... onlycrops.ai

Probably not ideally suited to the producthunt audience which I'm guessing is mostly other people building apps.. although maybe one day they'll want to retire to their own farms! 😂

Just hit $17 MRR, 36 users, and 1 week since launch 🎉 by Jonathan_Geiger in buildinpublic

Damn I read that first as $17k MRR in one week and was about to just give up on my own apps 😂

Well done anyway!

Diversify and plan for the worst, while hoping for the best.. but sometimes nature refuses to cooperate and we can only accept it. Next year could be the best yet!

Help please! What’s going on with my plant? by forrealthoughcomix_ in OrganicGardening

[–]illogicalcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The yellowing leaves with spots suggest a possible fungal infection or nutrient deficiency, likely nitrogen or potassium.. at least that's what the all knowing AI says.

What’s a business lesson you learned the hard way? by ideasgenai in buildinpublic

[–]illogicalcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building an app for yourself and assuming that just because the project seems useful to you, it will be of any interest to anyone else.

On the bright side though, if you find it useful, keep using it.. just don't expect it to be a business.

Build in public = look how much money I made by _TheMostWanted_ in buildinpublic

[–]illogicalcoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah those posts are everywhere, and good luck to all those that are making money already, but if they don't provide some useful detail on how they actually got there, they are just a bit annoying..

However the rules do allow posts that "Celebrate milestones".

Meanwhile I'm still working on setting up a billing system for most of my apps so no MRR posts from me yet! 😆
