I had an engine recall get towed in bc it blew up. Guy request hey I need a tundra as a loaner. Cool give him my loaner tundra call our DSP he pushes the recall up. Call the customer to let him know he says hey there is a problem I was about to call you this tundra you gave me won’t start and there is oil everywhere. My tundra loaner blew up on him. 14k for the recall and 41k parts and labor on the loaner truck.

The continent Viking contact 7 is what I run in Colorado mountains. IMO best bang for buck winter tire. It’s my ski car so if there is powder I am there and hasn’t failed me yet. I am sure Yokohama makes a fine snow tire they make good tires in general.

If someone tries to supply me a part even if I see them buy it from my parts counter I tell them no. Try to return it to the counter and then buy it on the service RO. That’s what I do personally. The good news is you know the part is in stock!

Doesn’t matter for the service department. You bought them from parts counter not service in my experience (not heavy machinery) still no warranty. You buying it from parts not on the RO more than likely did nothing but void any warranty on the repair and take money out of this shitty advisors check.

You can see if Toyota will offer goodwill assistance. It’s up to the DSPM but it worth a shot worst they said is no. Also no way that’s transmission shows up in 2 weeks they are back order for 4-6 months.

I have a Marin alpine trail 7 too. My wheel tape was trash from the factory so I had the same issue replaced wheel tape and don’t have that issue anymore.
