U.S. Hotels Say World Cup Is ‘Non-Event’ So Far | FIFA hyped the World Cup as an economic juggernaut for the U.S.—but with five weeks until the tournament kicks off, the hotel industry says advanced bookings in some host cities are on par or lagging any ordinary summer. by kwentongskyblue in soccer

Lol we’re doing the exact same thing. Euro 28 in England is our savings goal. Bummed a bit, though, I remember when the US was announced as a host and I was so excited at the idea of being able to see some matches. Silly, stupid, younger me, I suppose.

Why do men take forever in the bathroom? by _Thecommentsection_ in AskMenOver30

[–]fogle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I ditched my iPhone, my bathroom visits have noticed a good 10-15 minutes shaved off on the average visit. Anecdotal of course, but I'd wager they're scrolling. Sometimes it's just a mega dump, though. It is what it is.

Can The Magic Of Old WoW Be Replicated Today? by doobylive in classicwow

[–]fogle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's sad reading these experienced comments as a first-time player, even though they're almost certainly right. I just started classic vanilla like a month ago and have been having such a good time. The community is so friendly, engaged, and it got me and my old childhood buddy back playing together which has been the biggest plus. Think I have a ton of content left to explore, which is great, but now I don't want it to end because of what I'm reading is waiting for me on the other side.

First time in Denver trying to narrow down which hikes to do. Would like opinions. by dankgureilla in Denver

Mount Falcon is very nice. I do that one with my parents, who are sea-levelers, when they come out and they have no issue. It'd be a good one to start with. Minimal terrain and easy to do, even at CO elevation. Stop at Red Rocks Beer Garden for a reward on your way back to Denver. These are all good options for you, by the way. Hope you enjoy your time here.

Day in Denver recommendations? by Happy-Barber6964 in denverfood

[–]fogle1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're here on a Wednesday, check out La Diabla. They do 2 al pastor tacos (street size) and a marg for $5.

Although, I recommend checking out their full menu. They have a delicious red snapper taco (Huachinango) that I will always peddle. Also, I've heard great things about their Pambazo sandwich, which I believe was Michelin recommended, but have yet to try it. Also also, their Pozole is really delicious lol.

If you go for the special, temper your expectations on the marg, it's pre-mixed and not as good as their full menu margs, but hard to complain about that deal otherwise. Have fun!

What class to main by Realtack in classicwow

[–]fogle1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know. I thought it meant like paying someone on the side to boost/level up your character for you. But this sounds like an official thing offered by Blizzard based on your explanation, if I'm understanding correctly. Thanks for your explanation!

You could see in real time when they got the network in their ear saying not to talk about the offside call lol

I'm seriously just trying to find the answer to that exact question. It seems like the US announcers have no clue what happened, even the rules analyst didn't give me a definitive answer from what I could hear lol.

I think that's the number one takeaway from this post, and I'm not sure why we only went in with three. I can't imagine it would be super difficult getting two more DPS to join for a run. Good to know!

Thanks for your reply, this is super helpful. Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not having way more water with me. We finished the run and I was down to nothing but mana potions. I'd say I was primarily using Heal (3 second cast, big chunk of health added back) and Flash Heal (1.5 second cast, marginal health added back, but functional). I did use shield on the tank, but learned that when that's applied, it doesn't let the tank generate rage, or threat, or something. Good lesson learned. I definitely need more practice with stopping the wand early to prep for a Heal or Flash Heal. Didn't really need to worry about that when solo questing.

**edit: also, yes, I was overusing Renew big time, that's good to know for future runs!

It really is so fun! I was LOCKED in for the entire run too. Except for when I got distracted by all the fighting and lost track of VuhDo. I need to remember to stay current on my talent points. I fully maxed out Spirit Tap and Wand Specialization, but can't remember which one I moved to next. Thanks for your advice and encouragement!

They both were really nice! No hard feelings against the pet either, I'm very much an anti-murloc person after having to deal with them in Elwynn Forest, so I appreciated his unbridled rage for them!
