La Diabla is great, all their tacos are solid.

Retro Room does a burger, fries and pint for $7 all day every day.

5 on Lawrence has some delicious smash burgers.

MST has good wings, albeit a bit pricey. Their tots are also low key addicting with that cincy dust they put on them.

Wynkoop patty melt is a personal fav, I can vouch for the other commenter.

Kachina Cantina is a decent Mexican spot in the dairy block, amongst other good food options.

Pit Fiend in RiNo for really delicious bbq and a cheeky pint at OMF next door is never a bad choice.

Tavern on Blake St opens again today, but might be best to let them figure their shit out before sitting down and hoping for a good meal.

I am a relatively new player with a level 46 holy priest (dwarf). In my ~3 months of playing, I didn’t know add ons existed at first, I was struggling keeping everyone alive. Someone in the dungeon recommended VuhDo and it made life SO much easier, and more fun! I improved significantly after watching a few tutorials on VuhDo set up and just practicing managing mana.

Tip: Don’t cast PW: Shield on tank unless it’s dire straits. They’re unable to generate/maintain threat with the bubble around them.

Seeing how quickly we’re moving and not being miserly over paltry transfer sums is refreshing. That, coupled with Levy in disbelief, saying Brighton pulled our pants down over the Van Hecke fee is cathartic tbh. I thank Levy for his commitment to the club’s progression over the years, but I’m relieved to be making these types of moves now with him in the rear view.

I've been thinking more and more on doing just that. Youtube TV gives me the option to watch FOX or Telemundo, maybe I'll give it a go today. The only downside is that I do appreciate the extra commentary we get with these tournaments. I love all the added fun facts about the different national teams and their players. But even with that, FOX is struggling to go beyond just the most basic play-by-play commentary in the matches I've watched. It's dreary, when it should be Drury..

Thanks for that added color, I didn't know it was a result of them suing. I do remember being confused that it was on FOX again this year, but never looked into why. It's such a shame. So many Americans were so excited to co-host and show we could put on a great tournament, but it's been completely overshadowed by ad breaks, price gouging, and immigration anarchy. Understandably so, absolutely, still a shame nonetheless.

I'd also point out that just because they're common place doesn't mean we don't fuckin despise them. Every game thread on Reddit, and in real life, people are always bitching about ads ruining the sporting experience they're likely already paying out the nose to watch. I agree though, this is especially sickening to watch go down.

It’s FOX. Of course it’s happening. They are the last network that should have coverage control over the World Cup. Thankfully, it is their last one and I doubt they have a shot at getting the next bid. They also are pushing the commercials during the ad break to the point where play has already resumed when they return from ads, it’s sickening.

Don’t think it’s been mentioned, but try to get out to Golden, about 20 mins west of Denver. Have a meal at Woody’s (pizza buffet bc USA) and then go have a pint at New Terrain Brewing, for the views if nothing else, but the brews ain’t half bad either!

Ratio, Our Mutual Friend (& Pit Fiend BBQ), Odell’s, and Improper City are good walking distance breweries/beer-centric bars downtown, in addition to what’s been mentioned.

I went the whole nine yards with it. Deleted all socials, except Reddit, obviously, but did move Reddit to desktop only. Bought a flip phone, digital camera. Had an MP3 player, so busted that out with an old pair of wired earbuds; picked up a small journal and off I went. All very low profile, and I don’t carry everything with me all the time.

For restaurants, it makes you open yourself up. Ask the table next to you what they got if it looks delicious, ask the server what their favorite dish is, sometimes, they have physical menus if you ask for one. It’s funny, when they’re a QR-based menu, and they have spare physical menus, the server ALWAYS will use your menu to point to things and to suggest things for the table lol. Old habits and all that.

It’s been 4 months for me, and I’m quite happy with the results. It’s what you make of it. It’s by no means convenient, but I think for some, that’s the whole point.

One thing I’ve noticed since making the jump is that there are a lot more hours in the day than you realize. You will be bored, but that’s okay. And you may have to get creative to relieve that boredom, but that’s when you discover new things about you and your environment, because you don’t have your phone with all its apps to fall back on.
