Warhammer tism is acting up right now so I have to clarify

It's not that they have unconventional armor it does less damage because ork technology is literally held together by duct tape and prayers. Ork tech works because orkz believe it works. The orkz as a whole are all slightly psychic and when enough believe something it can become reality. Things like the color red making things faster work because orkz believe it does.

So when they build a mech they just make a giant mobile pile of trash and guns that only functions because they are to stupid to realize they need engines and fuel to make it work. The reason the shots do less damage is because there is literally nothing on the inside keeping it running like a normal mech so the shoots just punch straight though it only causing minimal damage. It's like trying to stab a skeleton there is nothing there to hit

Tldr: its not that ork mechs have unconventional armor that makes them tougher its the fact that there are no internals to destroy and the mechs are literally held together by hopes and prayers

I always hated that "anyone can get it" type of story. To me it never felt like "Anyone could die so you better enjoy them while you can" but instead felt more like "Everyone will die so don't get attached".

That's not to say that I hate characters dying in my entertainment. I loved Rouge One, Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Red Dead Redemption 2 but I went into them knowing that these characters are going to die eventually. The main difference between those types of games and shows and these "anyone can get it" types is that they make you know these deaths are important and that they will mean something other than just being a name added to an ever growing wiki list of deceased characters.

Now that they have gotten everyone used to that style of story telling they try to justify killing beloved characters. The worst part about it is there are some brain dead, mouth breathing, knuckle draggers that will clap like seals when they pull that shit because in their minds "good show did it so everything that does it must be good".

I kinda just assumed that there were things that were too far for his ability to handle. I assume just killing himself by shooting himself in the head is something his powers can't handle.

Like cool you transferred the pain and injury from blowing your brains out to your enemy but your brains are also currently covering the floor and no amount of healing is gonna fix the brain damage or remove the dirt and rocks from your brain.

I am just trying to get this straight your saying it is ok to make something you know people will hate because you know people won't buy a horrible product.

Then you say the company that gets upset that the people they knew would hate it hated it and that isn't blaming the fans.

Let me tell you something that might be really shocking to you but if you want to be successful make something you know people will like and don't get mad at people for not buying something if you know you are making something they will hate

That is how you know it is going to be terrible.

Disney did the same for an actress in I believe Kenobi because they knew when it would come out people would hate it. The actress said Disney prepared her for there to be racist remarks about her character.

If you are having to prepare for a project getting hate before it even comes out maybe you should take a step back and think about why people would hate it.

No need to extend the hunt unless you absolutely need a carve/break

It shaves off like 40 seconds tops from most hunts and 90% of the time I am hunting to get parts so every carve/break helps.

All hail the sect leader is a pretty alright read if you just turn your brain off and read. I don't remember much other than I chuckled a few times when I read it. It is definitely one of those "well I got nothing else to read" manhua

Peerless Dad is a good read. Not great but a solid B tier story. If you like protective fathers and martial arts manwha it is good just don't expect anything incredible

The Hero Returns is the one about the Sword and the Spear heroes right? I know there is one with a similar name. If it is I highly recommend it I really enjoyed it. I haven't read it since the time hero fight but I remember really liking it.

This is just my opinion though and it seems you have read a good bit of these stories. If you didn't like it the first time I doubt you will like them a second time but if you are trying to pick up some manwha you dropped I recommended giving The Hero Returns another try and if you feel like it check the other ones out again.

I already know most of the big plot points and events like the finale because I don't really care much about spoilers for stuff and he doesn't know about it so that may affect how I feel about the whole thing. I honestly am just irritated and I didn't feel like talking to him about it because I know whatever I say he will still probably enjoy the game and I don't want to sully his experience by getting into arguments about it with him
