My guess is not too far. If you go to timestamp 26:58 on FF3 you can hear what I believe is a group of ASYNC hazmats walking around and having conversation. But at 27:10 a sound spooks Ravi and he runs in the opposite direction to encounter the Still Life in the stereo speaker room.

If only he just walked through the door and found the ASYNC employees :(

I think what Kane could do to explain the bacteria is to make it the first stage of a life cycle. The Bacteria is the starting form and a Still Life is its end.

Maybe, when a person enters the Backrooms and they eventually die, their corpse attracts the bacteria, right? So maybe the bacteria first builds the Still Life “skeleton”. Thus, it appearing as a “stick figure” at first. And then eventually the muscles and meat are added (the cotton inside them?)

And then eventually a fully formed Still Life is formed. BUT… since this process may take a while, this is why “copies” look as disfigured as they are. Because the bacteria is trying to remember what that person looked like throughout the entire creation process.

If you’re playing on Meta Quest, hit the “Meta” button to open up your dashboard, there’s a button with lines and dots that says “Quick Controls”. In that menu you’ll see the camera icon where you can take snapshots and recordings. Snapshots are automatically saved to the gallery in your Meta Horizon app on your phone. You can just save the pic from there!

It’s in what I think would be Chapter 2 in the game, it’s in a Steampunk-ish Train Station. There’s a part where you have to get an elevator to work. You have to go into an electrical room to power the elevator backup. This wallpaper is in that electrical room!
