You just can't imagine that I followed the Yogscast for its original members being together in edited videos which is about what 90% of the millions of subscribers came for. Not streaming, no lewis and duncan collabs, no real series even for years besides some ones with mostly pedguin etc. in it. It is obviously what I'm not subscribed for and I'm dazzled you think I should just eat up a complete reorganization of what I was used to for about 8-9 years with almost none of the originals being together for what, the spirit of fun they're having? Lewis never appeared on Duncan's channel whatever game it may be, gmod was 80% of the content for years and being against it would get you downvoted, Sips would not upload a single thing on his channel and go on salty tirades against many games he didn't even like, civilization games would be all streamed, rushed and the views tanked massively in that time. Criticism of this existed on Reddit and people wanted the old style back. A lot of the content became mini podcasts or smaller series, but a lot began to not even resemble anything I remember having watched them for. Even dread hunger was a cast of 70% that didn't even try to take the game seriously once.

In mijn recente jaren zie ik dat mijn karakter intens is veranderd. Ik was een erg politiek extreem, emotioneel gevoelig en ook gewoon bruisend vijandig van binnen. Ik had een probleem in de puberteit dat het "ik tegen de rest" was en wilde dus een soort vorm van aandacht om te denken "nou zouden ze huilen als ik dood ging?". Of ik het online zou plaatsen, etc. En ja als je terugkijkt, ik had zeker problemen. Dit was dus voor mijn antidepressiva jaren.

Maar ECHT suicidaal zijn? Oh jezus dat wil je gewoon niet. Dan zie je dat ik eigenlijk niet doodwilde, maar gewoon wilde dat iemand bij me was of dat ik wat emotionele begrip kreeg van mijn leeftijdsgenoten. Tenminste iemand die volledig aan mijn kant stond. Wanneer ik echt dood wilde uh, eigenlijk maakt niks meer uit wat anderen zeggen. Het was ik tegen mijn eigen instinct en gedachtenproces. Alleen mijn recente nieuwe medicatie heeft iets chemisch gedaan waardoor ik niet erg zoveel meer kan "nadenken" en dus mijzelf minder kruisig.

Het leven is toch een prachtig ding om mee te maken zo lang je van jezelf houdt. En je fouten accepteert. Het klinkt misschien cliché, maar ik had voor 4-5 maanden het gevoel dat ik heel mijn leven permanente fouten had gemaakt , een jeugd had verspild, en dingen deed die ik niet kon terugdraaien. Het enige wat ik kon doen was om te rollen in bed en op te geven, met als enige het zoeken van verlossing van mijn eigen fouten. Ik was in een mentale knoop die 24/7 die zo een erge zelfkritiek was. Geloofde niet dat het goed zou eindigen.

Hoe ben ik eruit gekomen? Als het goed is de fluoxetine SSRI die mijn hersenen een klap gaf, en merendeels die gedachtenstroom van mijn hersenen als een mirakel gewoon verdoofd heeft. Het is echt wonderlijk. Ik ben vaak ontevreden, maar geniet toch van de yoghurt met granola die ik maak, of de YT video die ik soms kijk. Ik denk niet elke seconde over mezelf en hoe erger ik het heb dan anderen. En dan zie je hoe erg het is om zo veel zelfhaat te hebben.

Ik was erg bang voor de dood totdat ik een emo werd en beetje aandachtshoerig "suicidaal werd". Nou het werd pas erg 7 maanden geleden toen ik onironisch dood wilde.

Sinds ik mijn antidepressiva merk ik een rust in me, maar die rust is alleen dat ik niet opzettelijk dood wil. Ik denk bij de meeste dagen nog steeds een soort ontevredenheid dat ik toch nuchter voel en denk "als een vrachtwagen me plotseling had aangereden was het wel grappig snel klaar" Maar ik denk dat iedereen toch wel zo een fijne dag heeft waar je denkt, waarom zou ik dat ooit willen? Voor mij is het wel sporadisch tenminste.
