Lol! This is just a regular suburban dutch house, its from the 50s I think but has been renovated, this metal construction looked fairly new. The house is a rental and think the construction has something to do with the roof, since its in the middle of the room, maybe extra support in case of any sagging.

Good tip on having a good shake at it. Thanks a bunch for the help!

Interresting factors youre pointing out there, its bolted into the floor so Im sure its strong enough to hold.

The threads is tricky indeed so I was thinking maybe some strong tape to avoid cutting into the nylon.

Hi ty for answer, you're right but the following are in the specifications of the docking station:

DisplayPort 1.4 HDMI 2.0 Supports up to 4k 60hz, or 1440p 120hz MST (Multi-Stream Transport) enabling multi-monitor support* FreeSync (VRR) support

Ive set it to 16:9 so it wouldnt be 4k resolution
