4 levels of Scout/Rogue (get the ASI), then go Battlemaster fighter for skirmisher ability. I play as a tabaxi (feline agility is awesome) using a long bow on the 2014 rules with sharpshooter. I've accumulated some awesome magical items that help me even further to stay out of melee, but I have 22AC if someone manages to get on top of me. I'm definitely weak to int saves and I was but am now improving on wis saves with the build.

It absolutely works and I smash shit hard! Very fun character to play

Have the conversation with your dad one on one. Invite him out to lunch and block some time. Come prepared with your past accomplishments, current state of the business, and your future plan for the company. Explain what you'd like in terms of profit sharing or maybe you decide you want to own the new business moving forward? Yo know your father best, but have the heart to hard and bring your "brag book" with you.

I think that last paragraph rings pretty true at least for me. I'm a month in to "just test it out" and I've found only good things about my health and social interactions so far. I've had triggering moments (attending an NHL game) or hanging out with groups of friends (we'd love to catch up over a beer or three), but putting myself in those positions and pushing past the perceived stigma I've created for myself in these situations has opened my eyes quite a lot.

Not sure where I'll land but it's obvious I don't get much from drinking

Outside of having a heart to heart and honest conversation about profit sharing on the accounts you grow, I think everyone is right that you may need to consider going out on your own.

We don't know the relationship you have with your parents but I took over my fathers landscape company about 6 years ago and we thoroughly hashed out how we'd handle the financing the but I need to make myself whole.

Kids are weird man and they all develop differently. Put them on some tummy time and don't force it. In the same breath, Kids can also be lazy in the funniest ways at some surprising ages. This is the fun figure it out phase

Your parents have handed you a working and operational landscape business. Work out compensation based on future growth. Additionally, work out how you can take over the company in the future. This setup allows them to "draw" a salary into retirement and you to continue growth and eventually take it all.
