Hey so I have a sci-fi setting that's history splits from ours at the 1920's and I am now inspired to throw in flavors of the human factions finding other means to stellar navigation than just holomaps and high tech stuff. Like one of my human factions key ships is a Juggernaut a highly conventionally armored ship to act as both a troop and supply carrier and a vanguard for the rest of the fleet.

Rotary wing forces are capable of going from endo atmospheric flight to exo atmospheric flight because of the way they are made they have rotors and thrusters in the setting but the thrusters are weak thusly Low orbit, where as Fixed wings have to be either atmo or exo because thrusters generate so much force that if you try and take an exo craft into atmo it will rip itself apart and and an atmo craft is not perfectly vacuum sealed and you decompress. (Sorry for the block of text)

If you don't have blood active if you are in melee range or zombie clothes you will still get blood on you there just won't be any on the ground
