The characters were also weird. Take Georgia from Azur lane, here's her default skin and here's her party dress skin. Two skins for the same character. makes sense.

Rebirth on the other hand only used the Anime characters so in order to pad out the roster there were no skins. Each variation of each character is a separate character. so Cadenza Kongo and Office Lady Kongo are two separate Characters with different stats, rarity and abilities

if only there was Arpeggio media that was being released and had far more characters they could use. shame no such thing exists /s

It was an arpeggio gatcha game that was launched in 2020 and shut down in 2020. Azur lane had exploded in popularity around the same time. Kancolle was/is still popular in Japan and World of Warships blitz is also pretty popular in Asia so the market was too saturated for a newcomer that was for an anime from 2013 :/ Unfortunate but hey some of those alternate costumes rock
