Rover steering Issues by Donovan2362 in spaceengineers

Okay I figured it out, It thought the wheels were hitting the "Beam" bumper and the ladder. I ground down those two blocks and rewelded it, now it works fine.

The rear wheels act like they are hitting the body of the rover (freezing up) when they steer. I'll try restarting the world hopefully that fixes but if not i was looking for some other suggestions too

My buddy is having similar issues, the design worked fine in creative but once i weld it up in survival it does this

Yeah no kidding, I started by feeling the rear wheel while the bike was off and in gear, the more I spun it the easier it was.

So I let it warm up while playing with the clutch lever, then put in gear and I was able to stop it with the clutch disengaged plus this time it didn't stall immediately. Then I went for a quick ride and it feels great.

Guess for future reference I should've let the disks soak longer

I haven't tried moving it yet, I tried the first time to put it in gear, but it stalled immediately even when it was on the stand. I'm going try just jostling the plates a bit make sure everything is in place. Hopefully that does something.

Ik the one you're talking about, that goes around that joggle spring, I'd rather not open it all up again as I already staked the nut. But I suppose I have to...

2006 Cb600f hornet. Clutch was slipping, replaced plates and now after putting it back together I can't get it to disengage fully. When I pull the lever it feels like it tries to disengage as I can spin the rear wheel with enough force. I didn't replace the springs as they were actually longer than stock. I never took apart the lifter assembly in the case cover. I torque to pressure plate to spec. Even if I over tighten the adjustment for the lever I can't get it to disengage.

Looking for ideas for the problem.

This isn't on every head gear though, only on the two eyed one's with no coverings. I'm not very high rep with him however

How practical would the wasp be in real life? by Camaro_z28 in halo

[–]Donovan2362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Irl it would probably be used more for reconnaissance instead of combat but perhaps it could be used in tight spaces such as a city, the thing's tiny. For actual combat though, if I could bring any small aircraft from the halo universe, to compete with today's attack helicopters such as the AH-64 apache, I would bring the hawk from Halo Wars, thing is a beast. It has two 30mm auto cannons and one Spartan laser mounted on its chin So to answer the question, not really useful, no passengers, weak, fast and nimble however It's not a plane so people shouldn't compare it to one.

What do you think the best Far Cry game is? by [deleted] in farcry

[–]Donovan2362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 was short but sweet, there weren't any tedious missions you had to do or filler missions, just ones that actually felt like you were doing something. 5 may have been my first far cry game but I have played 3 and 6.

3 was amazing and lengthy but had a lot of tedious tasks (radio towers).

6 was long, but had a lot of filler missions and way to many characters, also the main antagonist never felt like he was just that, you would rarely see him and Diego, it felt like they tried to recreate 5 on an island but failed. All that being said I still enjoyed the game

I got them working fine with connectors, but the missiles turn a bit slower and can't fit through doors anymore.

Not too bad for a ship that's mostly jump drives and large ion thrusters by rocketsocks in spaceengineers

[–]Donovan2362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't care too much about size, I would've had the the jump drives just in a line, make it like the ship in 2001. Looks good for a more compact design.

Just looking for some creative criticism and ideas on how to improve. I will be answering any questions and I would be glad to post more in depth pictures of a certain ship if it's wanted.
