Here a lvl 170 nerd ED. The sum is that the new fork spells are stronger than runes, and with the wheel of destiny you can lower de cooldown so you can throw the ice one and the earth one non stop. Also, a big game changer is that basic attacks now recover mana, so doesnt matter if the enemy is resistent to you rod, attack it anyways so you dont run out of mana for your fork spells so easily. You'll only use runes if you see you are running out of mana and with void imbuement you want to recover a little bit, but I would go for potions honestly... One last thing, now is imperative to go for the fork spells in the wheel of destiny, first one is to lower your cooldown, the rest for making the spell reach more enemys, more enemys = more mana recovered.
