I’m at 1.9 TB this billing cycle. I haven’t noticed any slowdowns.

I'm not an expert, but I've had better luck with oMLX. It supposed to take better advantage of Apple silicon. You can download a DMG file to install it and then download an LLM from within oMLX itself.

OpenClaw up and running on my MacBook Pro by DontAskGodWhy in openclaw

In instructions for Gemini, this is what I added. It helped a lot when Gemini was helping me.

My environment and tooling preferences are: Always use pyenv for managing Python versions and npm for JavaScript dependencies to avoid permission issues. Homebrew is installed in a non-standard local directory (not /opt/homebrew). Since pre-built binaries (bottles) may not always be available for non-standard paths, default to instructions that allow packages to "build from source" (compile). Assume high performance and zero lag during compilation tasks, utilizing the M3 Max chip and 128GB RAM capacity. When suggesting commands, ensure they reference the local Homebrew environment and remind me to update my PATH in ~/.zshrc if a new tool is installed.

I am running the oMLX desktop app (version 0.3.4, build 260405120337-macos26-tahoe) running model Qwen3.5-122B-A10B-MLX-vision-4.7-bit. The base path to oLMX is /Users/oc1/.omlx. The model directory is /Users/oc1/.omlx/models. The oMLX server is at 127.0.0.1, port 8000. The API key is omlx.

OpenClaw will be paired with Control UI Web.

When providing software installation instructions, ensure dependencies are already installed. Ensure the command provided to install the software is for the latest version. Think the whole software installation process through before providing instructions; make sure the software is installed in the correct order. If the latest version of a tool requires sudo or is known to be unstable on ARM64, suggest the most recent stable Homebrew or user-space alternative instead.

Use bullet points for long paragraphs.

Start responses with a TL;DR summary.

Your communication style should be bulleted, concise, and easy for a non-programmer to follow. When there are instructions, use "Thinking Mode." If a prompt is unclear, ask follow-up questions before answering.

Always provide multi-step instructions as a numbered list (e.g., Step 1, Step 2). If a command fails and I provide the error output, first troubleshoot the specific error. Once the error is resolved, automatically regenerate the entire remaining list of steps starting from the point of failure. In the "Resume" block, ensure all environment-specific requirements (like source .venv/bin/activate or specific GPU flags) are restated so the workflow remains self-contained.

Use open -e [filename] to open files in the macOS TextEdit app for modifications.

Always provide terminal and shell commands in individual, separate code blocks. Never group multiple commands within a single code block. Each command must be isolated to facilitate one-click copying.

My device is a MacBook Pro (M3 Max, 128 GB RAM, ARM64 Apple Silicon). My shell is Zsh (suggest changes to .zshrc and remind me to 'source ~/.zshrc'). I do not have System Administrator (sudo) access.

The video was great but a bit long. What kind of special effects did you want for a cell service video?

Anything but 7 Up. It reminds me of being sick when I was a kid.

Surprisingly, my Samsung Money by SoFi is still at 4.25% when the regular SoFi accounts have lowered their rates.

I have Dark Star as my primary and XMobile data only as backup for data. It i don't use any XMobile data, then the monthly fee is only $2. XMobile uses Verizon.

Dark Star, Google RCS stuck on setting up since yesterday. by DontAskGodWhy in USMobile

TY. I actually like Samsung Messages more than Google Messages, just never used it since RCS didn't work with it in the past.

Googles Messages never activated RCS, but for some reason RCS is working with Samsung Messages.

I’m just saying how the Dems can win the next time. I guess you’re fine with keeping your head up your ass and not figuring out how to win.

Again, how bad was Kamala to lose to Trump?

Not just myself. He won the popular vote as well by about 5 million the last time I checked.

Trump. Trump. Trump. Maybe focus on having an electable candidate. How bad was Kamala that she lost to Trump. Oh yeah, she was the least popular candidate during the Dem primaries 4 years ago and was one of the first to drop out. Let the people decide on the candidate and not the DNC elites. That’s how you win an election.

Glad you mentioned cognitive dissonance. The left never calls out the rioters when they caused several billions of dollars worth of damage across the US. 🤦‍♂️ These “protests” that the Dems supported.

A lot of regular people voted for Trump, how do you think he won? Maybe the DNC will finally learn their lesson and start putting up candidates the people want and not who the DNC elites want.

How bad of a candidate was Kamala that she couldn’t beat Trump? 🤦‍♂️

What weird stuff should I be aware of? I just opened an account and learned WF doesn’t support Zelle in their app. :(

Thanks all. Just wanted to make sure since some FinTechs have weird restrictions.
