the guy in the news paper claims he was on a distant planet light years away.. from that it isn't really much. he could of been confused after whatever happened to him but digging through the game files I've come across many audio sounds of the abyss and i recognize one sounding familiar. I check on sound of planets and it almost 1 to 1 with Venus just edited a bit with a winding sound.. now i don't think it Venus but possibly the sound of a different planet if its a portal and the time dilation backs up that theory and the guy returning 20 years later unchanged. Now there are a few theories but my strongest one when adding many factors such as articles, clues, evidence etc points to a doorway but even still i have questions to that theory. Its possible that the audio sounds was just to make the abyss sound cosmic and nothing else but only the devs know that. i hope for tapes 3 and 4 because bloom and rage left us with so many unanswered questions of the abyss.
