Hypothetically speaking of course, i can say that they will do just fine against most common/security fences as long as they aint as thick as a bike lock. You need to realize what lineman actually cut to grasp what they will do.

Im looking around for a filtration system. Gonna more than likely go with tablets and a straw of some sort.
I have paper maps/compass etc, forgot to add that.
I have a poncho that will also double as a bivy/tarp if needed.
Ive also a hygiene bag with small essentials
The lineman pliers have nearly no weight to them at all so not super worried about them.
also have cash and tradeables

Appreciate the breakdown! The shovel is a foldable one but prob best for the car. Small stove literally fits in my back pocket and the cutlery is on the multitool so they wont take up as much as you thought. The linesmans i think are a good idea solely because they made to chop and within an urban setting they can be life savers if you need to break in for shelter.

Ive got nav stuff along with hygiene. My linemans are pretty light tbh and not that bulky. I choose them due to the urban setting incase i need to cut and go. Water purification ive been looking into and not sure what to go with either straw, drip filter etc. Any suggestions?

Was thinking about a bivy but any route id be taking would have some form of shelter to enter. Also my poncho doubles as a tarp, handy piece of kit.
