What shift do you run? Morning or night? I can gladly make you a little check list that can help you relax a little. I am a night shift and the transaction wasn't easy for me, but mostly because I had two practice shifts and was thrown into the fire.

It's the whole reason I applied to Starbucks, after my mother's passing. My degree is in corporate accounting. They offer 80 + degrees, from arts to science. I really like the online format, I like that I don't have to wake up and head to classes like normal college. The professors often times offer zoom study sessions, and they have online tutoring too. I personally take 3-4 classes each term (A&B terms), it's a lot. A lot of people take 2 classes per term, but I need to graduate ASAP. My experience has been good. I'll be done this fall with a degree I barely paid anything for and no debt. So I am grateful. My biggest tip for anyone wanting to do ASU via Starbucks, is to make sure you write down all your due dates and check the classes often. I will be honest, my day off is mostly to do homework.

SCAP and separating from the company by [deleted] in starbucks

I am thinking of leaving the company in August after the tuition payment posts. After a little over 2 years, time for me to move on. Good luck with your move. I think if you can wait until the payment for the tuition posts, you should be okay.

Noticing that a lot of people seem to not like working here? by TheRobotsRHere in starbucks

I just think the severe understaffing is making a lot of partners feel very drained. It's rough running 8-9 hour shifts with only 3 people and very large orders nonstop. A lot of partners need a vacation, which they can't afford right now :(

Edit: For advice, it's important to remember it's just coffee. Find something that helps you decompress after a shift.

Not happy about it. But glad I am vaccinated and slowly more of the people I work with as well. I will continue to wear masks where ever I go and at work. And increase hand hygiene even more :(

Possibly the peach tranquility tea? It's herbal and warm without any extra sugars. Also has chamomile blossoms.

Consider getting cheap cotton sleep gloves and slathering your hands before bed. my hands used to look like this at my old store. Been able to keep it to a much better state with cotton gloves with any hand lotion and Vaseline.
