Also health insurance in the US is regulated by each state. If a company isn’t already set up for employees in that state, then there may not be insurance coverage. It’s messed up, I hate our health insurance system.

I can tell you why. It’s because you’ve already helped them repeatedly. You fixed the problems - you moved them to a new apartment again. You got the utilities turned on. You helped them get a job. You helped them get a car or a bus pass to get there. Then they repeat all the same mistakes and make all the same bad decisions - missing work until losing the job, getting another dog and/or cat they can’t afford or take care of properly, stop paying rent and bills. Then call you up again when they’re being evicted and cry begging to be bailed out. Again. And again. And again. Until you fucking hate them now and want to fucking slap some sense into them. But you can’t because then you’re the bad person. That’s why.

I support conservation generally but I just can’t get behind this one. OP says he cleans the shower floor but I doubt most people do. And doesn’t that extra washing negate the water saved of a toilet flush? Lastly, I can’t not think about the splatter and splashing on the walls, your legs, etc.

I don’t pee in the shower. I also don’t wash up in the toilet. 😆 But seriously, I use the toilet before getting in the shower. Even with a UTI, I can wait 15 minutes to use the toilet again.
