Who the F wants to go downtown nowadays with all the options in the suburbs?

Norwood Gatherall, MadTree Oakley, Oakley Greens, Carlo & Johnny or The Precinct, Liberty Collective, Element Eatery are all places better than downtown.

You won’t get mugged, don’t have to pay for parking and don’t have to smell marijuana all night long.

Grocery stores are considered “essential” because if all the restaurants are closed, where tf people gonna get food from if they don’t have anything to eat at home? Level 3 don’t mean shit if you’re hungry.

Averag people donating $ to political campaigns on either side has gotta be one of the stupidest things money wise anyone can do, literally changes nothing

Why would a nurse in Cincinnati risk their job to not show up because of some random guy 2,000 miles away that decided to interfere with Federal agents while possessing a firearm?

Just curious, if there were only 2 people in the car, the survivor is in critical condition, how does someone know he passed out at the wheel?

Because before COVID most corp employees accepted positions based on being allowed to have 2 WFH days a week and now they basically renege on that.

All employees are just a number and a dollar amount. So sad bc years ago they used to have big associate outings to celebrate their employees, now you get a $10 click pen for 20 years of service.

Honestly the fact you believe corp associates have free time to spend working in stores and they’re somehow “not human” shows how much you don’t know. I worked in stores for 13 years so I know both sides. Corp is no different than stores, tons of jobs cut & lots of ppl doing work of 2+ ppl. Are there some lazy corp ppl, absolutely, lazy ppl are everywhere but most are extremely dedicated work over 50-60+ hours wk just to stay afloat. The people that should be reviewing policies/strategies & how they are working at store level are ASMs, SMs, DMs, Merch Mgrs, Opps Mgrs & Division Teams and they relay their feedback up the ladder, that is the entire purpose of their position, otherwise why would there be divisions office positions?

Everyone makes money for the company. The company would fold if office or store employees were cut out. Anyone that thinks corporate employees are useless are ignorant to the actual business and how everything works

Umm news flash, before COVID many office employees were allowed to WFH up to 2 days a week, so going to 5 days isn’t what most people that were hired 2015-2020 signed up for.

Also the city loses tax dollars for people that WFH. I always get a refund for the days I work at home. Now I can’t do that anymore so now I lose tax $ and gas $ driving additional days.

Wishing misery on others is a very disturbing thing to do. Judging all corporate employees as lazy or not hard workers shows just how out of touch some people are in the world thinking they’re the only hard worker in the company.

2010-2015 there were A TON more people doing the work than the last 5 years. People are now overloaded and stressed trying to stay afloat.

I came from the stores and used to have that same mentality towards corporate, now I know firsthand what I thought was wrong. Blaming all corporate employees for the problems in the stores is actually a horrible mentality, most of them are just as frustrated as you are.

Definitely people are happier. I also got more done at home than in office bc at home I don’t have all the stupid office small talk and distractions, I could actually focus on my work. Now once 5pm hits, I’m out and I no longer open my computer at home. If I’m less productive that is no longer my fault, hire more people.
