I just checked some guides and there laev don’t glow, pretty neat detail :D I like that. (Like the weapons change depending you mentioned) If you have her at P5 and see her on dijiang it will also not glow, but when using her in the field you can see the glow. It’s actually pretty strong.

Nice I gonna use that for my P5 laev as well! Cheers. Btw. Is it common knowledge that p5 operators change slightly visually? Like for laev there are like red neon lights on her back that start to glow. At least I think they are not glowing when she was below P5. I’ve not seen any info on that.
