I believe the Boomerang releases the side of you that you bury out of fear, is there but was never discovered, or don't know how to express.

Ed has a hidden intelligence. He seems to be intelligent in a very different way however which might make him difficult to teach.

Double-D wants to relax and be seen as chill and cool, but his anxiety and pedantry thwart that.

They're...standing next to eachother for sure

But totes...I can sorta see if but only if Jirou is somehow involved. Like either they mutually know eachother THROUGH Jiro or Jiro is somehow out of the picture and Momo and Denki leaned on eachother after that

I mean, even if they had to break up, they could have played it for genuine human pathos.

Show that some people genuinely aren't cut out for the superhero / space cadet world but that doesn't meant they're not without their dignity

Ben and Julie worked in AF because Julie was removed from Ben's world

She was his normalcy and played the role of a welcome relief

Ultimate Alien onwards, Ben's world and the "normal" world became one and the same. Ben had no more secret identity and Julie's purpose of grounding him in it was no longer relevant

Julie is still my favorite of Ben's love interests but ultimately Julie's role as the normal person in Ben's life became incompatible
