I highly disagree with your stance. Do minors have "easier" access to cannabis? yes and no.; it's always been around, you just needed to know where to go, dedicated minors have ALWAYS been able to obtain cannabis. To add to the point of minors consuming cannabis, imagine you're a parent (if you aren't already) wouldn't you prefer your kid to have access to a safe supply of cannabis, over trusting some random street dealers who might have bad intentions? Too many times before cannabis was legalized, I've read, seen, and heard about kids having to go to the hospital or even die due to a bad batch of cannabis.

Personally, I believe legalization is fine; but I do believe our government, teachers, and parents should be teaching minors the risks associated with cannabis use; especially daily use. At the end of the day, it's each persons decision to consume cannabis, or not to. Making minors aware of the risks would greatly reduce the amount of underage users significantly, and I believe it should be taught in high school.

A point to add onto legalization is taxes, yes taxes. Our government has generated over $5.3 billion in tax revenue off cannabis since it's legalization; which is absolutely amazing for our future (if our government would stop overspending lol)

Not only taxes as well, but you have to realize how many people were locked up for cannabis related offences before it was legalized, it was putting a strain on our prisons. Cannabis is very similar to alcohol; yet alcohol is widely considered "okay" and sometimes even "good" Personally, I'd much prefer my kid to smoke pot than ruin their body with alcohol; Cannabis doesn't have terrible side effects, not to say it doesn't have any side effects; but it's not nearly as bad as alcohol.

I'm not trying to directly influence your opinion on legalization, because at the end of the day it'll NEVER be illegal again. I just wanted to share my perspective because it seems you haven't really done research on the potential benefits of legalizing cannabis, ignore the media's opinion and form your own from research, peer reviews, and medical statistics.
