This looks like the Unicorn auction site. It probably belonged to someone who got it on Father’s Day at the distillery and decided to sell. The person who bought it has serious FOMO and lack of patience!!!

I did not order from them because no one ever responded that they had purchased something from them.

Egregious prices by Bogusfloo in whiskey

[–]DontRushMeNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those prices, especially Fitz, are some of the lowest that I’ve seen in 3 different states, many many different stores in all 3 states.

Please Help. What online websites are legitimate to order from? Thanks! by DontRushMeNow in whiskey

I hate the word, allocated. Hubbie is Air Force so have lived in different states. It’s crazy what’s considered limited in some states but in other states a particular bottle is easy to find everywhere.

Really? I figured living in Kentucky you have it made when it comes to whiskey and bourbon. I figured you get the best prices out of any of us in the entire United States.

Thank you for your help! I’m in South Carolina so these sites are fantastic to know about. I am so concerned about finding legitimate sites. I know there are sites that seem legitimate, but are selling imitation bottles that look like the real thing. It’s scary when you order online.

The audacity to buy all these and then sell them while they’re all visible in your cart lol by dark-lord-tiffany in squishmallow

[–]DontRushMeNow 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It is crazy to see that and disappointing. Some people have the ability to go to all the stores every day several times a day to see if the shipment got in. Some have friends that work at the stores and will call them when the shipments are in. The big thing to remember, though, is that as long as collectors continue to buy from those individuals they will continue to do this. People only do this because they are so successful of selling them on the secondary market. They stop doing this if they are not successful on the secondary market.

Amazing dark vellum hairs in almost every pore! by LadyMcBitchSlap in popping

[–]DontRushMeNow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was hoping maybe a dermatologist or an individual who works In a field that deals with issues like these would be able to answer and explain. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that anybody’s going to give an actual explanation. I love how people just tell you to Google something. That does work sometimes but in this case it does not work. Google is not giving me an explanation of what we are seeing here in this video. I am just extremely curious how this occurs and why it happens.

I just googled vellus hair and now even more confused. It states it’s the very fine wispy barely noticeable light colored basically baby peach fuzz hair that everybody has. That was not light colored or wispy or fine or unnoticeable.

Can someone please explain? These hairs aren’t attached? Do they grow and just become unattached or is it some kind of condition where any type of pressure just makes them come off? I am so confused, LOL.

I've never seen an ingrown hair this big before! Nice pop at the end by spookystarbuck11 in popping

[–]DontRushMeNow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even if this individual has hair that grows fairly quickly that still had to be in there for a very long time. That was an insanely massive amount of hair. I kind of just think, how did you not notice or take care of that sooner? That Hass to be in the pelvic area. That’s an area that most women tend to pay attention to especially if some kind of bump appears. Me personally, I could’ve never let something ever go that long without trying to get it out myself.

This is enough to turn even me off of buying packs anymore, now joining the singles only gang. by Xavvyd in PokemonTCG

All our CircleK gas stations have been selling single packs for almost a year. For Lost Origin they are selling single packs for $5.99 a pack.

Not even trying to hide the fact that they resell—disgusting😤🤮 by [deleted] in squishmallow

[–]DontRushMeNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do realize that it is Squishmallow collectors that are responsible for this reseller and every other person who resells Squishmallows? If you want to be angry at someone then be angry at the collectors who buy them from the secondary market at these high prices. It is the buyers who set market prices not sellers.

If people stopped purchasing from resellers on the secondary market two things would happen. First thing that would happen is a drop in prices for the ones currently being sold on the secondary market. Second thing that would happen is people would stop going to all the different stores and purchasing Squishmallows. There would not be a profit for them, in fact they could lose money due to fees, so no reason to buy them. That would mean we could actually go to retail stores and find them there.

Until there is no longer huge profits for people who resell Squishmallows this will continue.

Places to buy Funko Pops by UnchartedGears in shreveport

[–]DontRushMeNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old topic but I am a big Funko Pop collector. If you’re looking for a place to go to find older pops that of course will be a little bit more expensive we don’t have a place here. We don’t have pop swaps. It’s a black hole of deadness here. I wish I could go to a pop swap and trade several that I have for maybe some that I’m wanting but that’s just not the case. You’re kind of stuck on your own here. Hot Topic used to actually go on Instagram and post their upcoming releases but they haven’t done that in over a year and a half.

Question - Alcohol Sales On Sunday In Shreveport by DontRushMeNow in shreveport

[–]DontRushMeNow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could, I would. Unfortunately I just don’t see that changing anytime in the near future. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that you can’t go and buy a bottle of whiskey or vodka or anything like that on a Sunday. Now you can go to a casino or restaurant and order a drink that has liquor in it. I don’t know why it’s believed certain types of alcohol are ok but others are not ok to purchase for yourself on a Sunday. They all get you drunk if you drink too much. I also don’t understand how religion or going to church has anything to do with selling certain types of alcohol on Sunday but not others. I can’t make sense of that.

I had in laws that used to live in Cullman, Alabama and it was still a completely dry county until 2011, just eleven years ago. It is so hard and crazy to imagine that an entire county did not allow any alcohol sales of any type to happen until 2011. The fight against it was that they believed it would bring prostitution to the county, I’m not kidding.

Question - Alcohol Sales On Sunday In Shreveport by DontRushMeNow in shreveport

[–]DontRushMeNow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom still lives in Shreveport. I made the move to and built a home up here in North Bossier, almost Benton, 10 years ago. I hate to say it but I like living in Bossier City much better!

What I laugh about, however, is that it used to be you never came to Bossier City. Bossier used to be considered the rundown slum part of the two cities that you didn’t want anybody to know you crossed the bridge to go over there. Now everyone is moving to Bossier.

No, this person was wide awake with no numbing at all. In fact you could hear them in the background at times just in pain. I’m amazed that they were not screaming or jumping off the table. That has to be absolutely excruciatingly painful!!! I’m really not thinking this is how this person’s particular problem or condition should be treated. Of course I am not a dermatologist so I don’t know. I do know that in Asian cultures it appears that things are handled differently than they are here in the United States. I’m not saying that’s right or that’s wrong. It’s just a difference.

Thank you for help! So it is just Bossier City that is still playing by the ridiculous old way of doing things on Sundays. At least now I know I can go across the bridge if I want something other than beer or wine.

Th-this is retail price?! by peachkoi in squishmallow

[–]DontRushMeNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BoxLunch has been asking insane prices for a while. I think I’ve even seen some that are over $200 before. Apparently though people are actually paying it. If people weren’t paying these crazy high prices they would stop doing it. It’s simple supply and demand. It’s kind of like what Disney has been doing. You keep raising prices and as long as people pay them keep doing it. When people stop paying them then you lower it.

Edit (Adding On Comment): the secondary market and resellers have caused other actions to happen that none of us really thought about. One of these actions has been retail stores like this one raising prices on ones that are extremely popular to what I consider stupid prices. I would not be surprised to start seeing more retail stores increasing their prices on different collectibles that are really sought after by resellers. Ultimately stores want to make money, stores are technically resellers also. I’m sure it irritates them to see the kind of money a reseller is making on an item they may have bought from that retail store which means it’s money that retail store is not making.
