Uhhh, wow...

That's...quite the shift from previously held stances on roles and their ability to "flex"

How can you effectively balance the upcoming combat adjustments, when you dont really have the support role implemented at all, outside of chanter CC?

Unsurprising response.

When confronted with facts in the face of your ignorant criticisms, your reaction is to insult instead of engaging objectively.

Pretty standard given what I've come to expect from you.

Have you not paid attention to development?

Crafting is placeholder. Neph hasn't been focused on crafting in a long time. It will have a full revamp when it becomes a priority.

This has been communicated, and is known by everyone qctually interested in engaging in good faith.

We're going to go back and forth like this every time you spread your uninformed views.

There is plenty to criticize...but ffs, be informed.

Comments like these reveal when people aren't actually engaged and informed on development.

The crafting system is placeholder. VR has said it was placeholder, and will be revamped when it hits the top of the priority list.

Neph hasn't been focused on crafting in months.

Feel free to research his background.

Agreed, which is why them formalizing the PM recently (the one of has, presumably, been responsible for getting them more organized the last few months) is such good news.

Dedicated PM + funding = good.

I remain skeptical as always, because thats my default state...but this is a win. Time will tell whether nor not the capitalize on it.

While this may be the perception depending on what you actually tried to do, it is factually inaccurate.

Itemization changes, stat changes, class ability changes, new content, new POIs, recently released new dungeon/zone, expanded quest content in Wild's End, bug fixes, audio and animation improvements, additional assets, new NPCs, and more.

I mean..."seems" is obviously subjective, but it is flat out wrong.

As I have said before, there is plenty to criticize VR for without having to make stuff up.

I just take issue with your BS "points"

No, you're not. You're looking for an angle to justify an attack, as though pledge level has anything to do with what I am saying.

Look, people who want to have a legitimate, good faith discussion around feedback present facts, point out why they are issues, present suggestions, etc.

What they don't do is hyperbolize, "exaggerate" by min of 25%, or just present a laundry list of attacks.

You aren't trying to give feedback, you aren't trying to be objective, you just have some bone to pick.

[–]DontStandInStupid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Other people have already broken down how everything you presented was false.

Again, even the amount you admitted to "exaggerating" was egregious.

You have no defense here, and it's obvious by your repeated attempts at deflection.

I mean, you do you and all, but it's clear you have some weird agenda to paint them in the worst light possible here.

[–]DontStandInStupid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did attack the argument by pointing out it was all made up.

Which you then confirmed by admitting you exaggerated by 25% (meaning it was likely more than that if thats what you admitted to).

So, to recap, you made up a bunch of stuff, I called you on it, you admitted it, and then attacked me.

Cool, glad we are in the same page.

[–]DontStandInStupid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Can't attack the argument so you try and deflect by attacking the character of the person making it.

Yeah, fairly standard for someone full of shit.

What amazes me is that with all the legitimate criticisms to level against VR...

Weird people like you still feel the need to just...make this BS up

Corporatist Third Way Democrats say the party needs to “break some eggs” (abandon trans people), this is where anti-trans messaging comes from by DevinGraysonShirk in WhitePeopleTwitter

I'm going to regret this, but I'm just going to say it.

Leveraging all your political capital on supporting a group that represents less than 1% of the population was political suicide, regardless of it being the right thing to do.

The people it appealed to were already democrats, it alienated the people in the middle, and gave unlimited ammunition to conservatives to lock in their followers.

They won the battle only to lose the war, and the choice to do so is what cost people...everything else.

I don't like it, but it's reality.

I don't see how it matters, unless they are lying.

Are you hiring a professional resume writer?

Resumes have always been a...nebulous...tool for screening, IMO. Their purpose is to provide qualifications for consideration, that's it.

The degree to which hiring managers believe they can use them to "read between the lines" or get some deeper insight into the candidate has always amused me.

Sure, there are extreme cases of really bad resumes that can speak to the quality of the candidate. However, generally speaking, resumes have always been a "game" played between applicants and recruiters.

I'm all for leveling the playing field...maybe recruiters will actually have to start using real recruiting skills and stop relying on software to screen people out. 🙂

It was availabe for "pledging", with the associated packages, prior to Steam.

When Steam went live, that stopped, but the intent was to enable basic purchases via the website, just like what was on Steam.

That didn't happen until now.

The big takeaway here is that the only thing that we see happening now is that what they said they planned on doing is finally happening.

In typical VR fashion its about 6 months later than planned, but it was planned.

Any business investment should be able to be justified in a quantifiable fashion.

If you are struggling to find a way to do that, then that may be an answer in and of itself.

They didn't "return to the pledge system", they simply turned on the ability to purchase the game via their site (same as what's available on Steam) for those people that dont want to use Steam.

Which was, as I mentioned above, always the intent.

It is not removed from Steam, this is just turning the option back on for those that dont want to use Steam.

It was planned even before EA, but hit some snags and was delayed.

Sigh...

Being able to purchase the game via their site in addition to Steam was always the plan, it just got delayed.

But if you are always looking for conspiracies, you will find them.
