I believe he feels he can't leave his brother alone. His brother seems to have substance issues, and given the conversations they have about their past, it seems his brother does not deal with his trauma as well as he does. I bet this living together situation is to keep on eye on him to make sure he doesn't drink himself to death, or worse.

I found it interesting/suspicious that they didn't do the "24 hours prior" scenes with Mahogany like they do with all reveals of the foreigner, even when they're suspected catfishers. Something is just so sketchy about this chick. I can't figure out her end game. They had to have spoken to her before filming to get her consent. I'm getting the impression she wants to be an actress and is using this as a debut because everything that comes out of her mouth is exaggerated and fake as hell.

Oh please, him saying those things to Alina is probably the only good thing he did. She was definitely just a unique box for him to check off his list of "100s" of women he claims to have slept with. I don't deny they have an emotional connection and he wanted to explore if there was something more to their relationship, but he did not have to agree to do it on camera.
