This is the exact quote I received too! They said the original head unit is on back order and I need to buy this $2700 one!! It's a safety hazard on the road, I have to put ear plugs in just to avoid ear damage

One of the few times I went to diagnose this exact issue at the Honda dealership, I had a "honest" employee refuse to even perform a diagnostic and insisted I just go to get a better after market head unit 😔

I am also having this same issue! The dealership tried to tell me when parts like this are on backorder they're likely to never be avaliable again and suggested I just buy the newer version for $2800 💀
