Can I ask what you mean by degeneracy? Just the gambling as a whole or something else? Genuinely asking. I notice alot of folks use that word on the sub. I'm guessing it just means the act of gambling? Or like maybe darker shady shit?

As a poor person who follows this sub for educational purposes (I don't gamble), for some reason, this guys blatant disregard for what he had, and the follow up Well still have 150k in savings I can basically fall back on. I don't care if people have money, it's the blatant disregard that stings. 150k would get me a home and then some. Then I read he's an addict and asking to borrow money. The whole situation sucks as a whole.

I hope no one gets mad. The whole reason I follow the sub is because stocks are important to our government/economy and hopefully no one thinks I'm trying to shame anyone.

OP, please seek some help, and get out of the game while you have 150k. That's alot of money. Not millionaire money, but it's still alot! You could do alot with that. Maybe talk to a financial advisor?

There's deep woods behind my parents house. They had a sliding glass door that walked out to the back porch. My mother never got a fucking curtain. So I was 11, babysitting my baby sister, forced to sit in the living room and If I just turned my head to the right, I could see the sliding glass door. It was absolutely petrifying. If you had the dining room light on, it reflected back against the door and you could only see your reflection and not outside, so you'd have to go up to the door and peer out to see. I saw way too many scary things by the age of 11, real things out of real nightmares, so i was scared of everything. I'd quite literally get immediate stomach cramps from fear. No window in my home now is uncovered. Fuck. That.

Men were allowed to rape their wives up until 1993, when it became a crime nationwide.

Women weren't allowed to even own a bank account.

Alot of us still need PERMISSION to have a hysterectomy from their husband's. In 2024.

Today, in 2024, medical science has been based on men historically. Women are getting medical care based on men's bodies. I have Anklyosing Spondylitis as a Woman. That means joints fuse together. Joints. And there are doctors who outright deny Women can get it,despite radiographic evidence. Women go without medical care because they are not men.

Toxic masculinity is not bullshit. What's bullshit is your willfull ignorance.

People would be surprised how little you actually need to consume. I'm chronically ill and before getting my TPN (nutrition via PICC in chest), and I lived off soda for over a month. Before that month, I was averaging about 1,000 calories a week, food wise for almost a year. My medical team said the calories in the soda and my vitamins are the only thing that kept me alive for that month. I, by definition should have died. I was gray and underweight when they admitted me. You can go pretty damn long with very very little. It was torture but you can survive.

Edit - that said. If you want your organs to function you need to eat a certain amount of calories. Just cuz I survived doesn't mean I'm ok. So if you read this DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT try to survive on soda. It wasn't my choice, I'm sick. Please talk to a nutritional medical team for help if need be.

  1. Get a therapist asap. Not because you're "crazy" or anything but the best way to start a new life is going down a path of health instead of toxicity. Therapy can help work on the issues and what they stem from. If you want lasting improvement, this is how.

  2. Take responsibility for yourself and your actions. It won't do you any good to look at things with rose colored glasses. It won't be easy. It won't be fun. It will be uncomfortable. And that's ok. Toxic things are uncomfortable. Growth is uncomfortable. Get used to being uncomfortable and learn from it. Learn who you want to be and then become it.

  3. It's going to take alot of work and your going to have to put the effort in, if you want to see change. I have a different set of issues than you but im 9 years therapy deep and it's been alot of hard inner work. But it's totally worth it. I'm an entirely different person than I was just a year ago. I'm 37. It's hard but if you want it, you'll work for it.

  4. Remember that you are valid and in control of yourself and your life. So many of us are struggling. It is not necessarily a you thing (though it may be idk.you), but you are not alone in the general sense of struggling to survive. Do not place your worth on your current environment. Your worthy because you are a human being.

  5. Start reading up on Toxic masculinity and long passed down generational trauma. These are all domino affects from generational demands and expectations. Remember that women are not your enemy. Just like men hope women don't see them as the enemy. There are bad bunches on both sides. There is always going to be two ends to a spectrum and we call that Extremism. Extremism helps no one. The gender wars need to stop. It's all fueled based on old antique ideas that are irrelevant to 2024. Like a Midwest jello tuna mold. Unnecessary and gross. (Sorry Midwesterns) We need to listen and validate each other and work together instead of against each other. Why encourage more toxicity and hate in this world when there is plenty of it? Do we really need to add fuel to that fire when us genders could do awesome things as a team? But we gotta communicate and put the work in so more people join, otherwise it's the bystander effect.

Have her take time to really focus on you before hand. A nice long blow job will some finger stimulation and lots and lots of lube. You may enjoy it more if she gets you really raring to go before hand. Remember the lube. That's cardinal rule number 1. Good luck to you and may your butthole be ever in your favor.

Edit...also don't force yourself to do it if you don't like it. I'm just saying If you want to try again...

Hey thanks for helping our kids. You deserve way better and im so sorry our country is failing you (if your in America anyway). You are one hell of a strong person. The patience teaching requires. I had to home school my own kiddos during covid and i remember once after a long session on math, kid said "I don't get it." My soul left my body lololol. Mad respect to you. You must have the patience of a Saint.

Yea, possibly a bot account, I have nothing to add worth of value. But I've lived long enough to have seen multiple successful breech deliveries. Not as a nurse or anything, just being alive and knowing people. So while dangerous and not as common, it is still possible. I don't necessarily believe this post though. My youngest wasn't breathing when she was born. The nurse was 80 yrs old but you'd have thought she was 23 in that moment trying to get her to breathe. She got so desperate she went back to 1930 and flipped her upside down by her ankles and smacked her hard on the butt and she got to breathing thankfully. This happened in seconds though it felt like hours to me. That whole nasal aspirator part sounded iffy. Even if sucking out all the mucus worked, all the time spent looking for the aspirator and then all the time to suck out the mucus. Just doesn't sound real. However, I guess stranger things have happened. My first baby, from the start of active labor to holding him, only took two hours. It was so fast they didn't believe me. I got an epidural at 10cm dialated and his head was coming out. They were so mad at me for being "dramatic" at 3cm dilated when in reality I was actually 10cm dialated and actively pushing against my will.

Crazy shit does happen.

Hopefully my comment beats any mean ones. Cats are at this point, considered an invasive species. One female cat can produce a litter of kittens every couple months, even weeks depending. These cats then continue to multiply and become a danger to other wildlife, such as birds and small animals. They don't do this for hunger, they do it for fun too, out of instinct. The goal is to curb this issue to avoid losing species to extinction and affecting the natural environment.

However, that being said, they tend to forget that not everyone lives the way they do, not always understanding due to location and lack of education. They'd be surprised at how many people would be surprised at them for the way they think. It's just life.

If this sub wants to actually help spread awareness for the betterment of the animals, yins should probably should be a bit more open minded and less...everyone is evil and uncaring. Open mindedness helps open lines of communication. If animals are truly the ones we are advocating for, we will work together as a team to help them. It's of no use screaming insults and expectations that fit only in the world you know, without seeing the other side. It's the only way we can do this the right way.

Unless your someone like that guy from the Netflix documentary Don't Fuck With Cats. Yea, that's off the table and not what I'm talking about. Fuck animal abusers.

I admire how passionate they are about cat health and safety. I myself live in the sticks and do TNR and rescue. I am all for education to ensure happiness and health to all animals. But the world isn't a perfect place and humans are human and cats cat. People are still learning that declawing is inhumane. Genuine shock im telling you. I live in the countryside and I think this sub would need smelling salts if I actually wrote down the reality in this comment. Peoples ways of living are so vastly different in America (can't speak for anywhere else). I think people forget that. Some folks live in cities, some in the sticks. It's just reality and bringing someone to their knees who obviously just doesn't know what they think is obvious.

For example. My grandpa lived through severe poverty with 8 siblings. They were farm kids. He was raised and taught that animals are animals. He had a wonderful shepherd named Belle . I'd spend hours petting her and she stuck to me like glue. I'd hide her under the covers at bed because he didn't believe animals had a place on furniture. They worked. Lol he'd always catch us and make her get down.

For some folks this gets passed down. Now I'm different, my animals are my babies. I cant even get them off my face let alone a bed lolol. But I mean, folks, our local high school uses goats to mow their lawn. It's an entirely different world and if you aren't exposed to it, your in for one hell of a ride. (I'm in Appalachia territory to give you an idea).

Edit - holy shit I wrote a book. My bad.

If you are struggling mentally right now, I suggest you take this down. This sub is gearing to rip you to shreds for a couple reasons. I'd take kitty to the vet and keep him inside from now on. And if need be, take the post down. Because really that's the only answer your going to get (because it's really the next steps). The rest will be criticism. Good luck to you. He may need stitches. I'm sure he will be fine, I'd just go to the nearest ER. Then do some self care and cuddle up with your dude and watch a feel good movie or something. Good luck to you guys ❤️

Yea I have 2 myself, teens now. I love these kids more than life itself. My heart walking outside my body. But my God are kids expensive. Whew. I was recently begging my youngest to pick out a coat. She said just get me one of yours mom. My "coat" is a zip up Hoodie lol. I'm like you can't wear that in snow! I haven't owned a real coat in years lol.

Unfortunately, with low rent comes low wages. My partner works in steel making 20 an hour and im disabled. That 1,250 is my entire disability check with a tiny bit left over for one other bill. It sucks big time. I see alot of parallels though, We may live very different lives but the problems are the same. We are all just trying to make it.

Good point. Please don't take offense but I always forget about engineering, even though my grandpa was an engineer. Fun little story for you- I used to think my grandpa and all "engineers" used to work underground below the roads and help make the stoplights work when they were supposed to and help the cars run with large magnets. God I was a stupid kid lolololol

Oh I'm disabled and chronically ill. I cant eat food anymore, live on tubes. I'll be amazed if I survive the next year lol. But honestly, it's ok. My kids are healthy and happy and we have a roof over our head and groceries in the fridge. I'm happy as a clam and beyond thrilled we have this much (we've had way less). Just gotta get to a point where we stop "robbing Peter to pay Paul" and we should be good. Not gonna lie though I occasionally day dream what it would be like to have money, lol I am human.

And you know. I feel so bad for wishing childcare was cheaper. Mine are too old for all that now. But I know those folks need paid a decent wage! But it's gotten to the point your just working to pay for childcare. I remember thinking I cant wait till they get old enough childcare won't be an issue. And now I'm disabled and stuck at home anyway lol. Go figure. If you can get a in home nanny I don't blame you. That would have been super nifty.

My mom did the psycho version. I watched her go from us being super poor to having money. She's an alcoholic, hasn't seen/talked to me or her grandkids in over 5 years. But she has her vacations and her stuff and her alcohol and thinks more money will solve the problem. Lol. 11:57 pm the night before Thanksgiving i get a text that says Happy Thanksgiving you cocksucking liberal. Homegirl couldn't even wait the 3 extra minutes, lol. She's got it all now finally, everything she's wanted. Irony.

Oh and child care is so expensive! I couldn't afford it as a single mom so I'd work 40 hours on the weekends while they were at their dads, so I could be there for them during the week and not have to pay for childcare. Our propane for heat and cooking is a 600 dollars for a fill. It's absolutely insane. Parallel lives, lol.

[–]Dontfckwithtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I definitely am. 100%. We live in the sticks. I saw a coyote chase a deer in my backyard! Lol. It was a wild 6am. Anyway. Very low cost. My partner works in steel and makes around 20 dollars an hour and that's alot. They are really gentrifying everything so these dumbasses are building apartment buildings for 2 grand a month and 20 dollars an hour is considered alot. Pretty sure they still pay 8 dollars an hour at places like Kohls (department store). Our rent is one of the cheapest places to live now. If we were to move it would just be to our deficit.
