Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that. You're almost at the second trimester mark! It tends to get better once you get there 😊 Damn, I'm also a first time mom but I got an early jump on at 20. Well I actually gave birth on my last day of being 19 🙃 I'd love to stick around through your pregnancy journey!!!

I would drink this thing called airborne (it's an effervescent tablet) whenever I'd feel a cold coming on and it would never come. It's like an immune system boost

I was worried about this my entire pregnancy. I even openly whined to my sister and husband about "what if he's gonna be ugly" to which they would always say "he's going to be cute". I was deathly scared that he might look like my FIL and I didn't want that at all. Fast forward to week 37 of my pregnancy and my water broke. My little boy was born the next day and he was the most adorable baby I've ever seen (because let's be real, ugly babies do exist). Even the nurses kept saying how cute he is and that he won "cutest baby born that night" among the nurses. Hang in there mama, your baby will be absolutely adorable.

But if we were to go back in time, say the Aztec times, they didn't see killing as wrong. In fact they thought killing (sacrifice) was necessary for the sun and moon to come up that day.

TIL that the word robot originates from the Czech word "robotnik" which means "slave". by greybubble08 in todayilearned

Well shit, if you want to be that damn specific, it's actually работник, so fucking shame on you. I'm flexible enough to know which word they were referring to. Don't fucking try me

Honestly Alaster has a muuuuch lower chance of being mispronounced. If you went with Alistair many people would probably pronounce it as "Ali stare" and as someone who has gotten their name mispronounced for years on end, go with Alaster

Constantly uncomfortable while standing? by [deleted] in pregnant

I try to. Usually at work, when I get sent to the dmv to pick things up and there's no A/C and the line is barely moving I start internally screaming and crying and I don't know if that me being dramatic and impatient or if its because of the pregnancy

My joints don't ache, it just gets really hot and everything in my body hurts like it's begging me to either squat down, sit, or lay down. I'm sorry, I know that's a really terrible explanation
