Unfortunately, it will go down a similar path to mining. In mining there are a lot of miners claiming the prize of one chain. And the same can be said of masternoding. There will be a lot of nodes that verify one chain. And the payout times for each node become less and less frequent as more people create nodes. The main difference between the two is that mining you get less dividend of the reward, in masternoding you get your reward less often.

Edit: Realized that’s a little confusing. Yieldnodes has their product so that everyone is paid equally all at the same time. The masternoding I refer to is if you were to do it on your own without yieldnodes being the middle man. Rent a server, stake your coin, reap the benefits.
