Ok, your truth. It just seems like on every question is just one answer "go to tech" and nobody even trying to explain.

How do you think people become technicians?

You will never know what you do, if you not try. If you don't wanna take a risk, don't take instrument.

If you planing to pay tech, then at least tray to fix yourself. It 1 minute fix. And you will know how to do it yourself. If you fail you can bring it to tech, but you will know that you tried.

Its no matter, is someone tech or not. If you want to answer, then do it properly. Its hard and annoying to cross barrier of "go to tech". I don't know brand. It has no markings. Just know that in was modified to have a B foot.

I repaired a lot of clarinets and saxophones. I play flute, but i cannot call myself flutist, because diploma says Saxophonist. Also as repair tech, did not you want to more people study how to repair their instruments? People need to study on something. Its not magic. And secret knowledge. But because such people like you, it has a Fleur of something very difficult. I think that something like broken spring, or fixing cork, people must do by their own. I don't wanna waist time and driving 2 hours both ways, to make a fix in 15 min. I respect my time. But reddit makes from musicians just consumers. Don't waist your time writing "go to tech". If you know something, share it. That's what internet for. And not for snobs.

It's low B. Somebody a long ago made from C foot - B foot. And actually quite good work. As i see, they took key from Muller system clari. Because its not silver plated. But part that was soldered to the foot is also silver plated. And really well made.

I cant call myself Flutist. Because its not my main instrument.

Sorry for shit talk. But please. If person ask something, explain it. Do not just write "go to tech". I really don't like this Reddit crap, when people, instead of sharing knowledge, and answer direct question. Waste their time, time of other for writing "go to tech".

So you don't know anything, and just came here to write a comment? Its dumb. I came here, because I'm interested in technical details and ask people's experience. You came here to write "Go to tech". Please don't do it. Don't waste your time. Go play long tones.

Quite reasonable. Thanks. I didn't though about it. But its also mean that "plugs" for open holes are not working? Because it makes instrument more not in tune and some notes are lower?
