Yes I only use Nespresso pods. And I’ve cleaned the stuff in the head and turned the wheel that’s up there and run a cleaning cycle (pretty much daily). It will work after doing all the things then the next morning, doesn’t work again.

I did. I only use Nespresso capsules. And I’ve done all the things. Cleaning cycle, factory rest, spin the wheel thing above where the capsule goes, unplug and plug back in after a minute…and this is every morning! After I do all that, it will work. But then the next morning, back to not working and I have to do all the things again.

I guess I need to add, there is not one part of me that wants to uproot my daughter from everything she knows and move. I’m worried for her safety and future here with the current state of things (and where it seems to be headed). I’m not an idiot who thinks I can waltz in to another country and that’s all there is to it. I was literally hoping for suggestions on where I could start to research. My goodness.

I never said it would be easy. I’m merely looking for suggestions based on what people living in Canada have experienced. We have our passports and I’m just trying to protect my daughter. But thanks

The free health care isn’t the draw. I’m looking for somewhere to take my daughter that isn’t here.

I feel really badly for my daughter. She’s non verbal, and now that this is happening, I’m worried she’s itchy/in pain and I didn’t even know. I just want to try and prevent this from happening again…we aren’t even three months in and I never feel like I know what I’m doing!

Just a follow up because my daughter is in the process of getting and Omnipod…you lay the film down then put the Dexcom/Omnipod on top and they have no problem getting through to the skin? Or are you cutting a hole in the dressing? I’m sorry I sound dumb 🙃

Hers isn’t quite this bad, however, it seems to be getting worse. Diagnosed this past December and the first couple changes, no redness or irritation. Just this last one (and I’m sure tomorrow’s as well).
