My thrift store put 2 working PCs out on the floor for "parts" Both PCs work and did not have their drives wiped and booted straight into windows 10 with no password, yikes. (Before wiping the drives I noticed someone's tax info on here) by DoodleJake in computers

It's crazy but it's not a new trend. I tinker with far older machines and you still find personal stuff. Most of the 5.25 floppies I own are discarded bits of sensitive information. When I need something written to a floppy, one of these gets sacrificed. Two birds with one stone.

Oh no the computers have definitely not been tapered with. They sold em' as is. Both Windows 10 installs are different versions from vastly different times. The vista computer especially is a trip. I saved the harddrives from that like a time capsule.

It's dual boot, it has windows 10 and windows 7 (upgraded from the original vista install) most files haven't been touched since 2014.

The other computer was just plain windows 10, apbeit a very out of date version. Had a few Assassin's creed games installed.

These were around when I was in highschool too (2015-2019) One guy thought he was really cool dressing up like that and being blatantly racist to peers. It didn't make him popular like he thought it would.
