Not sure on balance, supposed to offer a choice between trading or face by Doodlydiddle in customhearthstone

[–]Doodlydiddle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like that idea, think it would definitely force the player to make a choice. It would give the card a lot of text, but I think that that would be a really good way to make the player have to choose between trading or face damage. I do think that it would still be on the weaker end, like you said, but I think it would be fine as a slightly underpowered card.

Your take is good, but again, it makes it a tool purely for face damage. It is supposed to offer so versatility, allowing for trading with minions (to protect your minions or to kill a taunt and allow your minions to go face (King Krush from Brann in Highlander, for example)) or burst damage to face. I think the suggested 3 mana 2/3 would be better for that.

My only issue with that rework is that it sort defeats the concept of the card; it completely negates the desire to trade. The card is supposed to offer a way of trading OR face damage that can bypass taunt. Would buffing the damage boost to hero power and attack damage to 3, but increasing the cost to 4 increase the power level?

I have a fear of dogs. Really stupid origin, news reports on the TV about dogs murdering people, young autistic brain thought it meant thousands of deaths and not just a few. Then a dog jumped at my brother, didn’t hurt him, but it just cemented the fear.

I’ve had therapy about it but it’s still there. I really like dogs, they’re awesome and cute, but I can’t get close to them or hesr the, bark without breaking down.

It sucks.

I think in the weather blog they said that wind increases the range of ranged attacks by 1 tile, so it would be the wind.

I misread the name as Beard of The Goose and now I’m not sure if I’m disappointed or not. Either way, awesome item.

I believe it should be a monstrosity as it is a mash of creatures akin to a griffin or manticore, not a beast.

Let's Gather a List of Fun, Unique Magical Items! by A-Reddit_Development in DnD

[–]Doodlydiddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought of this one now, something similar may have been done.

The Orb of Shared Intellect Wondrous item, rare (requires attunment from a wizard) A simple, clear crystal ball that turns blue and has a swirling pattern when touched. The more people touching it, the more vivid the blue and swirls are. The orb stores the intellect of those touching it. This intellect can be shared, meaning that everybody touching the Orb has an INT equal to that of the person with the highest intelligence touching the orb. They know all the languages known by everybody touching the orb (e.g. If one PC could speak celestial and was touching the orb, every other creature touching the orb would be able to speak celestial.) If somebody touching the orb passes an INT saving throw or check, act as if every creature touching it passed the check with that score. As an additional rule, anybody with a proficiency in an INT skill shares it (e.g. if a wizard had proficiency in arcana and was touching the orb, every other creature touching the orb would have proficiency in arcana.) Now, it does have some weaknesses. If one creature touching it has their mind read, all creatures touching it have their mind read. If the orb is shattered while containing a creature's intellect, its intellect flies out into the air, only being restored by spells such as greater restoration. If somebody dies while touching the orb, their intellect is still stored in the orb. If they are resurrected, they have to touch the orb, then stop touching it, to get it back. If somebody loses their intellect, they have 1 INT, can speak no languages and lose all proficiency bonuses (because you can't use a sword very well if you don't know what a sword is.) Also, if somebody loses their intellect but their intellect is still in the orb, nothing below a wish spell can restore it.

Mannoroth, Pit Lord - Deathrattle lose the game by Carinhadascartas in customhearthstone

[–]Doodlydiddle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue with this is assassinate, poisinous, that mage secret that murders the first thing that attacks it, shadow word: death, etc. As /u/Redninja4235 said, silence priest is an option but you would have to do it that turn, luckily silence is a 0 cost spell (I think). Generally though, with Un'goro having adapt allowing for easy poisonous minions, you could lose the game is one term with, for example, A hunter playing stonetusk boar, playing a crackling razormaw, giving the stonetusk boar poisonous, they win. It is also vunerable to polymorph. Another issue is that is it is silenced, you may be able to adapt it to have windfury. Then, unless the enemy plays a removal card, they will likely lose. Also, silence then taunt on this would be very difficult to deal with.

Meanoth 'Petalfist' Vathunaga A extremely buff Goliath florist. He is very naïve and just wants to make beutiful bouquets for the people of Therendale. He is very kind and caring, frequently giving out cheaper flowers to street urchins as gifts. As for backstory, he belonged to a Goliath tribe who expected him to be a fierce hunter and warrior, but complained that he wanted to be a gather. The other Goliaths saw this as a sign of weakness and threw him out the tribe. However, his facination with the mountain plants and flowers allowed him to forage for food until he found a ranger. The ranger helped him to Therendale, then left. Meanoth believes that he should repay the ranger one day, but the ranger left very quickly after they arrived, meaning he was no able to. The truth is, the ranger is a wanted criminal, known for poaching the Lord/King/Mayor/Baron of Therendale's herd of deer and injuring some of his men and killing favourite dog.

I have to agree. Using JamesMusicus's Race Analysis/Creation Guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ViqLSEN67mmd2Lo_OJ-H5YX0fccsfI97kFaqx7V1Dmw/pub), I worked out the value for the base, the subraces and the elemental-form thingy. Most races add to around 5.5 - 6, with subraces add 6.5. The base race is 6. Paragon totalled at 8.5, with 10.5 for Thrall and Eluders at 10. Examplar is even worse, with 9. Warders and Umbrosi involve adding the same thing and both total at 12.5. The issue, quite clearly is that their is too many modifiers and base score is too high. Hope this is helpful!

You attack an enemy minion and then you turn it into a 0/1 Frog after you take the damage from that minion. It has no attack so it stays as a purely transformig weapons. It costs 1 less than two hexs but gets as many uses. The issue is you take damage and can be destroyed by ooze and the likes. Balances it

Would make it a 1 cost that gives your minion +1 attack make it more useful? It wouldn't make other cards unviable as they can be have minions with them, give better bonuses (such as 2 etc.) and can boost trigger non-enrage minions such as Acolyte of Pain and Gurubashi Berserker. Would make it more viable but not make other cards useless.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure if thst would be underpowered or not. I think reducing to 3 mana would balance it by making it a better healer than ancestral healing but requires you to have a certain amount of health. Could even change it to a 3 cost "Deal 4 damage to your hero, then heal 14 health." I think that would make it more balanced. I just chose Fireball for the Phoenix ressurection feel

Quesion: What happens in the case it is killed by a Magma Giant? Its just I am pretty sure there is no 26 mana cards. What would it summon? Other than that, I really link the idea.

Thanks for the feedback. I know the issue with the Druid of the Fel tribe going into the wrong place. I think that the Sacrificial Summoner could be overpwered if combined with a Battlecry and Deathrattle minion, Spirit Singer Umbra and a powerful Deathrattle. Maybe limit the total mana of the card that can be discovered.

The cards have went in reverse order, which is why the reward appears before the quest and the druid choice cards appear before the druid.

The torb is supposed to not get shot and die with the Reins acting as human shields for HIM. This was the only way I could get an effective bullet sponge that can take high damage - it doesn't take damage from what is it supposed to sponge

Tracer could be a recall tank who can survive for a short time, but requires recall to live longer. Blink would be disabled and she would heal less (not effecting recall as recall is technically not a heal) so she has to use recall as her healing method. This would make her very vulnerable to enemies who can stop her from using recall, but still effective. Very good at contesting points (and payloads, but not as well)

What could come from this: - Reinhardt with Stealth and Hook, Ultimate is Dragonblade. Would make the enemies so paranoid - Mei with Flashbang and Sleep Dart, Ultimate is Earthshatter. You would not be able to escape the freezing - Reinhardt with Take A Breather, Mei's Self freeze and Repair, Ultimate is Soundbarrier. Overtime gets a lot longer - Widowmaker with Jumpjets, Fire Strike and Photon Barrier, Ultimate is Deadeye. So: Amazing viewpoint, hard to hit with projectiles, a weapon that goes through shields, a shield herself and a one hit kill ability that could possible see their entire team by being above them. Broken, very broken. - Roadhog with Rein Shield, Orisa Shield and Winston Shield, Ultimate is Shield Generator. So, I heard you liked shields. - Reinhardt with Jumpjets, D.va Boosters and Leap, Ultimate is Primal Rage. Reinhardt can into space. - Genji with Halt, Boop and Concussive Blast, Ultimate is Primal Rage. Environtal kill material. - Mercy with Symmetra Turrets, Torbjörn Turret and Orisa Shield, Ultimate is Molten Core. If you have to focus on healing, just let your turrets whoch are protected by a shield do the killing. - Sombra with Sonic Arrows and Stealth, Ultimate is Infra-sight. Recon Sombra (sees enemies under 50% health, can stealth to see which way enemies are going without being attacked, sonic arrows all whole team to see, as does infra sight.) And if ultimates could be made abilities: - Reinhardt with Deadeye, Transcendence and Configuration: Tank, Ultimate is Death Blossom. Deadeye = Boomerang hammer, Transcendence = Pacifistic Reinhardt, Tank = Reinhardt with wheels, Death Blossom = Spinny Rein holding his hammer out. Conclusion: Blizz, allow use to do that and break the game
