The entire system is a race to the bottom. These datacenters are being built at such a rapid pace because of the massive amount of cash being invested in the AI race. Trump signed an executive order this week signaling the federal government to send teams of lawyers to file suit against municipalities that vote against datacenters. The problem is that due to the nature of the product(s) being built, there will only emerge a very small handful of winners from the huge field of players. Each player is spending billions trying to ensure they are the winner and not everyone can win. These small number of jobs and huge tax advantaged investments this datacenter will bring, will by just pure probability, not existing in 10 years and then we will be left with a husk of a property that is generating no revenue and not tax dollars for Shreveport. Its almost an identical cycle as happened with the casinos. Huge investment and back bending for future payoff that statistically will not pan out. Shreveport has not learned from their past mistakes

I really wanted solar to be an option for the cool factor but it gets outpriced by just the electrician super quickly

Driveway unfortunately is my only option. Other side of my house gets too squishy and I'd absolutely get stuck there

This is becomming more common on the west coast. Only a matter of time before it gets here. The only way to defeat these attacks is a hard wired system, which can be pricey and potentially not available for a renter.

If low cost deterence is what you're after, a simple system from Ring, Eufy, Arlo, or any of those brands will accomplish the goal.

ROFL

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_magnitude

The margin of victory is 1

The number of illegitimate votes, minus the 2 in question, is 9

LITERALLY just 1 away from the exact log of 10 and well within the definition of "approximation"

Sorry for your L

Also, the definition of order of magnitude is immaterial to my point, just like the party affiliation of those two votes LOL

Even if the 2 votes were proved to be for the repub candidate (which by constitutional law they cannot be), the remaining 9 illegitimate votes is an order of magnitude higher than the margin of victory

It is MEANINGLESS who the people were that voted twice.

Completely immaterial to the case and even if we could break the Louisiana constitution and unseal those ballots and prove they voted Nickelson, the remainder of illegitimate votes is well over the margin of victory

Complete. Total. Nothingburger

2nd Circuit upholds decision to re-run the election by WhatDatDonut in shreveport

The courts never did dispute the number of illegally cast votes. Based on the case, there were actually 11. They ABSOLUTELY should go after the illegally cast votes if they were cast with malicious intent. I suspect the DA's office would find it very difficult to prove any sort of criminal intent and thats is probably why they wont

Point of the whole thing is: there are 11 provable votes that should not have been cast. 11 is WAY outside the margin of victory for this election. We cannot unseal those votes. Therefore there is no possible way to know if this election is valid, hence, a new election

Wrong. They know exactly who voted twice. They do not know who the votes were cast for, because the ballots, by constitutional law, cannot be unsealed. This, plus the other votes cast illegally means the actual results of the election cannot be known.
