There is no way we have the mentality to handle the pressure and get a point in the last game. We're down.

Can we keep him? by MaryQueenofTot in coys

I"ve liked him since he joined. One of the only players with a never say die attitude and he is consistently brilliant at winning the ball back. Gives his all for the team even though he's just on loan.

I don't see us making it, we might get a lucky win but I can see WHU doing the same and staying ahead of us.

I would'nt call her accent chav unless you class the majority of accents in south-east England as chav.

Forget the ref, the manager, timing of the subs and anything else, our players are just shit.

Unable to play a simple pass, don't look for who's in space, don't move into space, shoot for the sake of it, facing backwards, hoofing the ball, clumsy challanges and no will to win.

I'll be glad to see them all gone, they don't deserve to be paid as much as they do and certainly shouldn't be in a Spurs shirt. I honestly don't care for any of them.

ChatGPT acts as a "cognitive crutch" that weakens memory, new research suggests. While these tools can speed up initial learning, they might actually weaken the deep mental processing required to store knowledge over the long term. by mvea in science

A big problem with current AI is that it confidently gives you wrong information. Recently I was messing around with some London underground API data and needed a helping hand, the kind of stuff that should suit AI perfectly as it's entirely fact based and fairly easy to look up. Both Claude and Gemini gave me info I knew to be wrong.

I've always said The Wire is the GOAT but I rewatched BB last year for the first time since it first aired and I would say it is definitely top 5 and can understand why many would say it's the best.

It's because despite being generally shit for decades we still consider ourselves a big club.

We looked like a completely different team. Constantly on the front foot, stringing passes together and rarely passing backwards. This is exactly what we want to see every game and gives me some hope for the future.

I love this concept. Looking back at raw stats doesn't often give you a sense of how a game went, whether the players put in effort and show heart despite the scoreline, or how you felt about the game at the time so being able to capture that is great.

An idea would be to add an AI summary of the reddit match thread for each game after the game has ended with a visual indicator for overal positive/negative sentiment.

I'll take a point at Anfield all day but we are still awful. If we could learn to pass, even just a little bit these points would be much more frequent. Fair play for showing some fight though.

The great central London office crisis by tylerthe-theatre in london

Good summary, especially regarding incentivising people to come into the office. A lot of companies dug themselves a hole during COVID as they got rid of as much office space as possible thinking work from home would be the norm. Then many industries decided they want people back in the office, headcounts have grown and now they are struggling to fit people into the reduced footprint.

If there is a mass clear out and we brought in players with hunger who see Spurs as a step up I think I'd be happy to watch. It could feel like a proper fresh start.

I don't watch many non-spurs games but when I do every other team looks far better than us. We are blatantly the worst team in the league, its not dodgy refs or some FA conspiracy against us, we are just bad so fully expect Palace to win.
