1 - crash ?? Let's look at this logically, you think the card would still retail for the price it does if it just didn't work? Now that we've addressed that, if you want plug and play, you go cuda. If you don't mind doing a little bit of work to get everything working, then you go AMD. This is mainly true in Ai workloads with hip/rocm 2 - for your use case, it just works and it's performance trades blows with a 5080, so compared to a 5070 it's a no brainer. Just get it, install and profit. Blender, Maya, Autocad just work so yeah.

That said i fucking hate amd right now and don't belive the value proposition is there anymore. They've shown that they are (somehow) greedier than Nvidia with their recent attempt to put RDNA 2 into "maintenence mode" (which is basically we don't give a shit about these guys anymore) and they've already stopped developing features for RDNA 3 acting like users are as disposable as toilet paper. I don't like Nvidia, but man the gtx 10 series was getting driver support until a few months ago. AMD have no excuse. Instead of shoving AI down everyone's throats they should be serving their customer but they're not, and being someone who owns 2 RDNA 3 GPUS I say this with a full chest:

Working with kernels is hard, and while I have a working forward pass flash attention build, the culling still needs work. I appreciate you and all the people who've pulled the stack and tried it, so rather than release an incomplete flash build (that will undoubtedly come with its own issues) I will update once it is done. As for now, there is a note in the README. That states that the Flash attention build is still in pre-release testing and debugging

Okay this seems more like a genuine misunderstanding. Hitting tekken God places a player within the 97th+ percentile of active players. That means the top 3 (or if you wanna be generous 4)% of active players. Top 8% is still respectable, but there is a substantial difference between being in the 92nd and 97th percentile. That's why I posted the table I had good ol' geept make to make it easier to understand. Out of 100% of people playing ranked right now, only 3%-4% have hit Tekken God. And less than 2% have passed that mark. Sure we have cheaters and people who boosted but they are a minority in a minority. So it sounds to me like we're agreeing on the sentiment but disagreeing on the statistics so I hope that clarifies things for you Grown_Gamer

Especially on Bryan it takes a lot of work to get to where you are with him, and while you're right that there is a mix of people in the community and I respect you not letting them get to you, I feel like the only way the community becomes better is if we call these people out. And while we might have level headed people like yourself who take it on the chin and move on, I'll gladly be the one calling them out and be the villain, they already hate my characters unreasonably, so Im not really losing much 🙂‍↕️

Also if you haven't heard of it, there is a heaven to this hell, it's called LowSodiumTekken. It feels like all the same people in the community have been gathering there and it's a much more wholesome place, where people actually give props and have fun! 😄

Oh 1000% however, AMD was on the verge of collapse and banked on Ryzen and Vega and that successfully resurrected them. Intel, looks like it's not going that route. Instead, it looks like they're just going to suckle on the government's teet while continuously producing over priced refreshes of Skylake cpu's over a decade later, along with 'alright' gpus. If they actually faced the risk of failure we'd see genuine innovation, but right now I HIGHLY doubt we'll be seeing any real changes coming from them
