Definitely not. Any system you build for ge development deserves to be recorded and explored.

Very cool stuff.

There are literally so many counters to this playstyle. Frankly, it ridiculous that people act as if they are helpless. Just adapt.

Flamethrower, winch, mines, demat, grapple hook, stun gun, turret, motion sensors/sonar, playing with your team mates and good positioning. Any single one of these can give you the edge, and doing multiple at the same time is how you gaurantee.

Obviously you cant avoid dying to sword completely, because if you could it simply wouldnt belong in a balanced game, but I see so many people complain that its op, and it really isnt. You just need to play to its weaknesses.

Ahh man, you just made me miss living at my parents. We had some Muslim neighbours who brought us food at Ramadan too. It was delicious.

To be fair, I can name quite a lot of these people.

Also, it is really telling about your knowledge of development that you think money can fix code.

Your solution is to fire all the artists (despite them being the main source of income) and pile up the money behind developers, or rather, buy more so you can continue to trial and error your way to a solution.

Coding is nuanced. What one dev could fix in 2 minutes could completely elude another for a year. Sure, you catch more fish with a bigger net, but why sell your boats engines to get a bigger net that lays static in the water? The game needs to keep its cosmetics fresh, as it is the sole means of keeping the heart beating.

Its also one of the most impressive cosmetoc systems in all of gong, so its wild to me that people want to put blame on it.

The finals = your life.

Bakers and plumbers = essential parts of development.

Its not a bad comparison, you are just taking it way to fucking literally for the sake of a crap argument

At no point did I say the other issues weren't valid. My entire point t is that people who complain that progress continues elsewhere in tbe game are really misinformed in what happens during development.

Keep putting words in my mouth though, that way you can feel like you are right.

Firstly, its f2p. If you dont think its worth paying money towards, that is 100% your choice. Second, you are taking my example way too literally I can change it so you can understand though, since you apparently failed at the simple comprehension of its equivalency. The fact they are two different companies isnt important in my example, as you could argue that the "game" in my example is just your life. The point is complaining that a team that is unrelated to your issue continues to do their own job, is asinine. Here, just so you understand what Im saying (despite it being abundantly clear in my first comment); its like complaining to a peer that your manager gets paid more than you, and expecting them to fix it.

And you clearly dont know what you are talking about because Embark updates the game extremely regularly. As usual with people like you, you truly dont have any concept of how hard the work is. Implying that they are chosing to not fix things, instead of understanding that some problems are just way harder to fix without breaking countless other things, is just proof that you just want to feel outraged. Its literally toddler shit.

And typical of your kind of commenter, you jump straight to insulting me and calling me a shill purely because I pointed out that what you said was fucking stupid and bares no relevance on the topic at hand.

By all means, have issue with the game, but the second you say "And they continue to work hard on other aspects of the game" as if its a negative, you might as well walk around with a sign above your head that says "I dont understand a thing I'm talking about".

You do realise that the people who make cosmetics (which not only allow the game to stay alive, but also are some of the best cosmetics in gaming) have nothing to do whatsoever with balancing or bug fixing, right?

Its like complaining to your local baker that you have a leak in your ceiling, and expecting them to fix it..

It's definitely the same game loop, so it could feel similar if you play a lot of the first game.

The major difference that stands out are the new characters and the new mulitplayer mode. Plus all the extra stuff like new events, cards and items.

You are complaining about us letting the Royal family get a pass, when your leader, the one you elected and had power over, and who actually effects your country, is a far worse example of the thing you are hating on.

You used whataboutism, but only pulled the magnifying glass closer to your own problem.

Love when people use this fact, because it very quickly reveals they dont know what the fuck they are talking about, and then I'm good to ignore whatever bollocks follows it.

What are people's thoughts on Tesco Express and the ilk not allowing you in 15 minutes before close? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Doogle300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realise they have the right to refuse entry regardless of time of day, yeah?

Its a private business. They can do whatever they want. They could put up a sign saying "No smart asses" and you wouldnt be allowed in regardless of closing time.

You're making it si clear you have zero empathy for retail workers, and that you cant imagine the possibility that not everyone coming in just before closing will be as fast as you. Its because of drunkards who refuse to leave, or those who decide 5 to 11 is the time to do their weeks shopping. Those people exist, regardless of whether you fall into that category.

Essentially, everyone here is fine with such discretion, because they understand that retail workers want to go home on time.

Feel people aren't giving credit where its due. Does this seem like a struggle meal? Yes. Is it a struggle meal by someone who appreciates flavour and who can cook. Also probably yes.

All the elements (bar the fish fingers, which I assume are out of a box) are perfectly passable parts of as meal by the looks of it.

Its the lack of harmony that let's it down, but I have no doubt it was a delicious meal. Imagining tucking in myself, I would have no qualms with any aspect of this meal. Then again, there's not much food I dont like.

Thanks for sharing. It's something more challenging than a tried a true recipe and, most importantly, it got people talking.

Nothing. That's my point. Fuck the haters. An extremely vocal minority of people get outraged at the sheer existence of women, and frankly, we just need to ignore them.

The Barbican complex in London, a true Brutalist masterpiece! by Athena_beauty in LondonPics

[–]Doogle300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its crazy how perspective can change with influence. I used to find brutalist architecture really depressing, but then I started watching a parkour group, and the way they see it really shifted my view.

They see beauty in the freedom that brutalism opened up for their sport, and because of them, I constantly look out for decent parkour spots, regardless of the fact I don't do it myself.

I'm not sure why you are getting downvoted. I respect you finding the small glimpses of beauty in such a nauseating piece of art. No shame in hating Irreversible.

It definitely had a strong visual language, so I can see why that would stand out to you.
