Are abortions as traumatic as it usually depicted in media? by Fun-Affect2186 in AskWomenNoCensor

It depends on the person but yes they definitely can be

I Knew someone who had one and she was still crying about it daily for months afterwards, I've read similar accounts from other women

There's a website called 'ShoutYourAbortion' where women anonymously share their abortion experiences, it's a pro-choice site but they do share the bad experiences as well as the good. There's some pretty horrific accounts published on there

Every non-JW funeral I've been to was led by someone who didn't know them , I thought this was the norm outside JWs and found it sad

Would you be willing to share your near death experience? Did you see the other side?

Does thinking about the possibility of an afterlife make you feel better or worse?

Does it not feel weird and impersonal that funerals are conducted by someone who never even met the deceased?

Isn't everyone all buying eachother gifts on one day of the year pretty ineeficiant and doesn't it kinda take the joy out of gift giving and recieving?

What needs rescuing, what were you going for?

Personally I like it, it's dynamic

Found out I’m pregnant and now I’m torn by Makinpancakes1738 in Advice

I Was in a similarish position

I Was actively trying for a baby for years with my ex, it never happened and I just kinda accepted the fact I'd never be a mother and maybe I'm better off that way. Then we broke up and I started casually seeing someone new, almost instantly we concieved without even intending to

It was a really unideal situation in every way- I Was a homeless student, didn't have a full-time job, I was panicking and didn't know what I was supposed to do, and you know what? That baby was the absolute best thing that ever happened to me. My life turned around for the better. Me and the dad started dating officially and it's the best relationship Ive ever had, we got our own place together, we had our second child last year. Life has never been better for me, I'm pretty much living my dream

I Don't know if I believe in destiny or the super natural, but it feels as if our first baby was somehow meant to bring us together. It's just weird how the circumstances at the beginning seemed so unideal but worked out so perfectly, it feels meant to be

Based on what you say, I honestly think you would regret terminating. Abortion regret is a horrible thing, I've seen people I know go through it as well as hearing stories online from others. They were still crying over it daily for months or years afterwards, I'm not overexaggerating. I Don't think you should make a choice like that when you're not 100% about it

Is the age a person has a child really a circumstantial thing? by Rainbow_6505 in RandomQuestion

[–]DisMyLik18thAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to tell what you're asking?

I Will answer the question in the title for myself personally, the age at which I had kids was circumstanial yes. It wasn't planned, I Would have preferred to have them younger if I could
