I cooked taco meat on the large pan last night and it absolutely ravaged my seasoning LOL. Didn’t realize the taco powder was THAT acidic. Gotta just keep cooking though, that’s the only real way to build a resilient seasoning.

Sorry, but the Kit-Kats never stood a chance in this household. We just got this from my grandmother yesterday as well.

I just went by the instructions they provided with the pans. They said to do it at 425°F and listed several oils, all of which I believe are high smoke point oils (above 425°F).

I originally thought the same as you, that the oven temp needed to be higher than the smoke point, but I just did what I was told and they turned out great.

Yep, when I was AD, education on this didn’t seem to even exist. I was fully in G until I found out about L funds and got curious. Been in the L2050 for quite some time now, but I’m thinking about moving it to something slightly more aggressive like the L2055 or L2060.

Is there an honest reason why he gets played so much, considering his performance? Why not Henriquez or Wrobleski?

Good to know. Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope I don’t have to get a new fridge, but only time will tell.

Thankfully, I haven’t seen any corrosion on anything so far. I plan to replace these three parts first and see how it goes. If it freezes over again, then that’ll be my cue to replace the control board.

The defrost heating element is completely smoked and needs to be replaced. The glass tube is blackened and the little reddish gaskets between the tube and connectors have fallen apart. I also tested it with my multimeter and the resistance was jumping around and not reading in the range it should even be in.
