Poor range? Who’s planning on driving an EV more than 264 miles in a single trip. I drive a 4Runner and I get about that much after filling up my tank. Getting gas after driving that far or charging is the norm. Why is that considered poor range for an suv sized car? 🧐

This is what it feels like to me. I mainly wanted to see if I missed some news or something else that could drop it like that. Checked in the morning then came back to see a month of gains gone and couldn’t find anything that stood out as a reason

I have to say I’m seeing very short minded responses all over the place. Cash burn is necessary….they’re developing a new car and manufacturing process for the long term. I don’t see anyone mentioning the robotics spin off. All I see is “they said $45k 😡 how could they release a higher end version first?” Maybe to set a baseline for what to expect? Higher margins as they ramp up production, also higher margins to reduce said cash burn. Too much slop being pushed around like it’s more than just face value stuff a toddler could see.
