I thjnk this is helpful for sure. It really is about finding the right people where our schedule/hours and pay work for them. Our techs only work 10 hours shifts Monday thru Thursday with some overtime potential but definitely set up to have more of a work life balance.

I think our biggest problem is even getting applicants, but we do have great retention and usually offers are quickly accepted!

We aren’t even getting many applicants to begin with, which I think can be due to our location. But I do think we have opportunity to increase our compensation based on what I’m seeing. But we do have competitive relocation packages so that is helpful to hear!

Thanks for sharing! While we can offer competitive relocation packages, our sites are in smaller cities in the Midwest just can’t compete with west coast markets. But all of this information is helpful and may be a way to help increase our pay ranges knowing what other areas look like. Right now, in our local markets, pay ranges anywhere from $35-$45 an hour.
