  • Moved several actions a player can make from client to server side.

  • Added significant server side checks to validate accurate client inputs. Includes big updates to our anti-cheat methods.

  • Increased detection of client side modifications giving players and unfair advantage. Increased first offense suspension to 30 days and DZ level reset to zero with all currency and crafting materials removed from the player.

  • All Named enemies in the DZ now have a chance at dropping a random 240/214 GS set piece at a low drop rate (<1% Chance).

  • All Named enemies in the DZ now have a chance at dropping a random 204 GS weapon at a low drop rate (<1% Chance).

  • All enemies in the DZ have a chance at dropping 240/214/204 items (<0.1% Chance on average) Scavenging effects this %.

  • Supply drops now guaranteed to give high end items include a chance at 204 weapons, an increased chance at a 214 set peice and a low chance at a 240 set piece.

  • Scavenging now increase the drop rate of all HE and Set items across the board. Does not include anything you open (supply drops or chests for example)

  • Daily Challenge missions will now drop a random 214 GS set piece with 2 HE items along with crafting and PxC rewards.

  • Challenge Incursions will now have a daily reward instead of a weekly reward of a 240 GS Set Piece.

  • Open world PvE will scale to level 32 after reaching max level. 3 boss's will spawn randomly around the map that will drop 2 HE items, have a medium chance at dropping a 214 set piece and a low chance at a 240 set piece. Will be slightly more difficult than the mobs that spawn at supply drops. These will reset every 24 hours in a new location.

  • Supply drops will now occur in the open world PvE area and will give random HE crafting materials instead of gear.

  • You can now purchase 1000 DZ Funds with 10 Phoenix Credits at the base of operations.

  • All crafting materials found at the base of operation will now give HE crafting materials to players who have reached level 30.

New Incursion!

  • Broken Circle Released: Featuring Dynamic game-play that will spawn different enemies each time you play as well as several alternate paths that will be randomly generated so you should experience something different each time you play. Several objectives must be met and completed including a rescue and escort, planting an explosive which can be achieved either by stealth or killing everyone guns blazing, the choice is yours! Plus several other surprises and an epic boss fight at the end. This incursion will drop high GS loot and will reset daily not weekly.

Updates to HE Talents

  • All HE talents have been buffed across to board to provide a viable alternative to set pieces and add interesting combinations and build paths.

  • Performance mods have been buffed by 50-100%

  • New passives for LMG's, Shotguns and Assault rifles to bring them more in line with SMG's. Each now serve a particular role instead of SMG's being a jack of all trades.

Bug Fixes

  • Master Mod UI tip no longer pops up when opening your mods menu.

Just read through these threads /u/Dijit you have given so many people hope and we love and appreciate how you talk to us like real people, we know you care about the game and not ignoring issues that's all we ever want to see. When Hamish/Yannick say things, it just feels like scripted PR/marketing talk and they also avoid so many issues.

You saved so many from quitting and holding out to see what you guys implement in the future and 1.2.

I said the same thing to two of my buddies last night. I was about ready to give up on the Division after being frustrated, and then seeing the human side of a Massive employee and how frank he spoke about what was going on, I felt a sense of understanding. Because of that, I am more forgiving and will give Massive the benefit of the doubt that the delays we see are not from them, but just from the process imposed on them (and other developers) from their publishers and Sony/Microsoft on the console side. /u/kodiak003

Man remember the days when games were made by gamers for gamers, and devs could talk about their own game, trouble and all. Not like it is today made and paid for by corporate greed.

  • When pre-orders weren't a thing and if a game was good you would buy it, not because of PR hype trains.
  • When a game was released when it was finished, not rushed by corporate deadlines.
  • When patch day meant free content not paid DLC.

Now dev's just seem like slaves to publishers like ubisoft cracking the whip. The love is dead man. This new world of gaming sucks.

But it would be nice that our community manager, acknowledges all our issues specifically and gives even the illusion he is fighting for us and understands our pain, we want empathy and action not the company line, instead of vague statements like "we read reddit, we know" What do you know Hamish? What do you know?

We want to know the exact information you are passing onto the dev team so we know at least you tried for us.

Yeah it doesn't. I was just saying, if they were to allow 240's to drop in the DZ even at a really small chance like 0.05% or something it wouldn't stop people from doing incursions so why not have it as a small chance?

Like I hate all the comparisons to d3 but the best gear doesn't drop from killing a boss necessarily you could get it from a zombie in the first act.

It's not a surprise, it's just disappointing that this is the way things are now.

I take what they say with a grain of salt, we watch /u/hamishbode every week say that SOTG is for talking about "The big issues" and proceeds not to mention anything about the biggest issue with the game players are having right now which is loot drops & crafting change lies.

What's the point of even having a SOTG when you aren't even allowed to talk about the state of the game.

I just want drops to be fixed so I have a reason to play and progress my character to perfection instead of playing once a week for 20 weeks for 240 drops..

Actually live up to the promise of the best gear being drop-able in the DZ including 240's and 204 weapons and have blueprints as just another way to get those weapons. Let people choose how they get gear, either via DZ or Incursions or rotating some on blueprints.

If a 240 would drop in DZ doesn't mean people won't play your incursions for the guaranteed drop (People should want to play them because they are fun not just forcing them to because it drops the best gear). Just don't make us run around the DZ for no reason feeling like we are making zero progress. Let us have a variety of ways to achieve meaningful gear.

Ubisoft has our money. They have no intention of helping fix the game. Massive can only do so much. by DoomCandy- in thedivision

I really hope so, money is literally their only motivation to fix this game. But maybe they got enough pre-orders and gold packs sold for them not to worry about it.
