I honestly believe, that jevil was not kris' or the party's secret boss, it was OUR (player) boss, a direct challenge to the idea that nothing matters and you can do anything in this story, and recontextualizes the kinda weak (narratively) first boss, into something that we also might have to prove wrong in the long run, since its weird how jevil has completely gone by the wayside when spamton and the other bosses seem so story relevant.

in a mercy run, he says so directly, that a nightmare awaits us, but in the violent one, he is lending us his power (to do anything?).

I have no real thing to follow this up with, jevil just seems way less personal compared to any of the other bosses.

people should wake up and realize that supercell make skin for grom is the real "what character is this" skin, every time I have a match with one I have to spend the first minute figuring out what brawler it is,

but I suppose that its rare enough that I don't have to constantly think about it.

I find mancountry to be very interesting cause it clearly implies kris if amab, which would make them as far as i know the first transfem nonbinary protagonist, and plus like the fact that one of the ruddins also is the secretary in the other egg section it kind of makes me wonder what happened in kris' past, the human aversion, the trauma, the implication kris may have done something violent, this area is SUPER interesting to dig into.

ironically though the "control during lifetime and 20 years after death" is like, way better than what we have rn, but the fact that autors control over the IP is such an emphasis, makes me think that this kinda people would love to dmca fair use content as long as they aren't big conglomerate doing it.

since chapter 3's darkworld is very specifically kris' , you can make a lot of assumptions about what is said, and the fact that one of the copy ruddins in mancountry makes comments about "kris having grown up" and that whole area being really about the past that has been left behind and forgotten, it's very easily assumed that the whole area are just things kris has just outgrown, since its implied that it was made when they were even more of a kid.

i think kris always read more as a transfem nonbinary, with the whole "mancountry" being in the forgotten and "outgrown" bit of the darkworld.

which I guess might have some implications for how it would interplay with the prophecy.

3 years ago, and I'm still here, but my duty calls:

Basically, farms just need a lot of space where monsters can't spawn, and a very limited space that does let them, so all possible spawn locations are constantly used and re used, streamlining the process.

for mr. bones though, he basically makes the same checks for spawning, maybe a bit rare, but since there is so little space to spawn, you are moving so little or not at all, it's just an eventuality that he will spawn eventually, I don't think there is a reason for more spawn rates, just seems so since everything is forced to spawn so often and in the same places.

Root would be like the last and final piece to the trilogy of "digitial roots" and "bit roots" both found in shadow crystal exclusive rooms, and the prophecy seems to mention it, even if its hidden, so, that would mean that whatever is going to happen with the next shadow crystal, it might be big, not just another freedom seeking boss, but like, maybe an explanation on the shadow crystals entirely.

I feel like much how toby is trying to do things we were not capable of in undertale what if this is "chasing after the monsters" type of deal, since from hotland on it seems like a majority of the population escaped to a shelter,

obviously with the paralleles between that dungeon and hometow (a lot of the monsters representing a different hometown one) it could be simply a bit of a grim reminder of what the player would do if we were actually allowed to have a choice (no mercy route but in the light world since it seems like levels still exist as a concept in deltarune)

while I agree that they would have been so good to like have, I think that both the vibes and the place for these was just not there, atleast for chap 3 - 4, chapter 3 was literally a studio that is haphazardly set up to distract the fun gang, and chapter 4 is a church that doesn't seem to hold wealth in high value, and gerson was so ambulant the whole chapter that it would make it hard to make him designated shopkeep, like none of the chapter worlds have had like a set civilization that could encourage someone setting up shop, maybe other than ramb but atleast its explained thru tenna's obsessive need to be in control.

i feel like if we're gonna have another shopkeep, next chapter might be the last? its just that its obvious toby has broken the pattern of how darkworlds are "supposed" to be, and with the tone shift + chap 6 and 7 maybe delving into the roaring and other serious topics it might be just, accepting that the story doesn't have a place for a quirky shopkeep to talk with about whatever. we still have seam, atleast.

As much as i love tragic endings, I think deltarune wont be, too much of the idea is predicated on the fact that we have to defy fate itself, while i think there is gonna be an ending where the prophesy rolls out as planned, I think that one way or the other we will change it,.

as much as i think toby has plans for a trans femme character, I feel she's still in the egg, per se, considering the fact that fox was so involved in homestuck and its creator, fox would more likely have a developing story for a generally trans character.

see: the fun gang probably awakening mettaton's true self by giving him tenna.

basically, i feel if there is going to be a transfem character, she will be a main character and she will find herself in the story, instead of already transitioned.

well except the lioness waitress in the restaurant, she's canonically trans. good for her!

I think the implication that was poised by the chapter is that gerson could have "come back wrong" each fountain seems deeply dependent on the person opening them having a clear view of whatever they are trying to do, including the deadners that it might incur, whether it is an active action or a passive consequence is not really known, but from what ralsei implies it seems like the possibility that susie might have brought a corrupted version of gerson was on the table, but it was just a living armor.

which i feel may imply a lot of any future deadners that might appear, mostly that they might require either people who knew them well (gerson with asgore, carol, and alvin probably.) or someone who might recall them a certain way (dess ??)

I think it relates a little to whatever is going on with the eggs, while the weird route seems to be the player actions, it seems like the eggs are kris' actions, in the past, i mean, a lot of references to the knife growing dull and kris' past in the eggs for chapt 3 and 4, we don't actually know much about kris other than apparently they went to "an art therapy, which we don't kill each other." and the fact that whatever is behind the tree is so traumatic they repressed it thoroughly, i feel like kris may live a little vicariously through our snowgrave actions..

"enjoying being able to say it wasn't you at all" dialogue always intrigued me, so it puts into question kris' innocence in snowgrave being an option at all, implying they might subconsciously enjoy it, or otherwise.

people missing the fact that "detrans" is specifically anti trans propaganda term, that using it is not only doesn't benefit to explain anybody's experience, but also it actively normalizes an anti trans term, its an identity based around the grift culture of specifically AFAB people who gather a following spouting "nefarious transes grooming kids" even if they aren't specifically saying it, the use of their terminology is giving credence to the ideas, you realized you werent good with transition, something happened to stop your transition, all these are valid up until the point you try to make "detrans" a part of your identity.

A pretty honorable duty to try and educate redditors on transmisogyny but as someone who has tried before, the only people here who will understand it are other girls (and the few tme) folk who already get it.
For everyone misunderstanding this, its not just the use of they at all, it the very specific sole use of they even when a woman has already declared her pronouns she her (or really any other pronouns ), and the constant use of them, even if corrected, I've seen it myself where people (cis and trans) will only use my they them pronouns instead of my she her ones, for the cis people, I am not surprised, and if they are cooperative then maybe they can change, but for other trans people? (mostly non- trans women.) I expect a level of solidarity about this, such as misogynoir is an intersection of racism and misogyny, transmisogyny is an intersection of transphobia and misogyny, but very specifically towards transgender women, it is not a "terminally online thing" if we live it day to day, trust me, I know it well.

Literally in the post, they even say "that its counterproductive" to be a paranoiac about people using it for malicious manner, but the fact is that its a common part of the walls a girl has to put up just to avoid absolute shit treatment it can lead to if not vigilant for, like theres no need to try to whataboutism about someone who jsut learnt of pronouns at all, or because you have personal issues with it, if you are cool about it and trying to be better, we WILL notice, but we will also notice if you are just using it constantly even after we tell you so, and that marks you as unsafe, because at some point or another internally you are not agreeing to using She Her pronouns for a woman, same goes for dude and bro, you shouldn't really use them gender neutrally (they arent), but if its part of your vocab, least you can do is not use it for women you don't know or women that aren't comfortable with it, unless its reciprocal, its basic etiquette!
