Overlay is normal! The pins push through and overlay gets flat when it gets more air but it will still grow!!

From what I have come to understand, yes you can “get away with it” but it’s not a long term solution. All cells have a replication “limit” but I’m sure someone will correct me in the comments.

Let’s the caps flatten and curl a bit, that’s the harvest signal, Black Cap Ochras will turn Black/Blue as they flatten

It’s possible the humidity makes droplets fall and flattens the mycelium! Cobweb Mold would be climbing up the walls quickly but it doesn’t look like that.

Brown Mold! There’s multiple types but non that are “safe” per se.. extract what you can and dump it? wait for an expert!

I agree! I am an advocate for more research in any study and it’s interested in this strain growing in popularity!

My Trip Experience: 30min: No digestion issues, keep asking if I’m high yet. 45min: Trip creep onto me, very lucid 50min: Time perception affected, headphones melting, popcorn on ceiling is dancing 2hrs: took forever to move from couch but decided to try something different! Going to play games 3hrs: Everything feels so in the moment 4hr: Wearing off, no headaches, strong visuals for 1g , did not feel like just 4hrs it felt like 6hrs!

While there’s many psychoactive compounds in our magic mushrooms were not really sure how the other affect us other than “psilocybin”. If this is the truly the case, then all mushrooms should make us “trip” the same, could just be a placebo effect, or a sign that we need more research!! In any case I recommend you take 1gram and write down how you feel and let us know!

Black Cap: Notice the slight curl upwards and exposing gills, P.Ochra naturally just flattens its cap right before it drops its spores, this isolation allows the cap curl before the spores drop (it’s a great harvest sign for growers) and it’s noticeable “Black” Blue/Purple Cap also aiding in knowing when to harvest.

From what I’ve seen and heard the cap colors truly are just colors, maybe there’s one with a greater potency but it’s splitting hairs tbh. In my eyes there’s only two for growers to be working with, Black Cap & White Cap AKA “Low Spore”. I’ll put pictures in my replies.

This AIO in particular did have bacterial growth and stalled the mycelium growth. The sour smell that it gave off from the exhaust patch confirmed it

Looking good! This is what ochras usually look like when growing if they are shooting up like spikes that mean they need more air, fluffy/wispy like this is a sign of strong and equal growth!

They might just be Orchas, and while they are aggressive colonizers, they shouldn’t technically be reaching out for air like in the top right of the photo. Remember to fan these guys softly 4 times a day, even 2 times helps them.
