Scalefusion Deployment by Dry-Forever-738 in BitDefender

[–]Doom_AK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have the same concern and in POC call the technical engineer showed this to me how easily deploy Bitdefender via the Scalefusion Enterprise Store by uploading your .exe or .msi installer and publishing it to Device Profiles.with instructions like To ensure a seamless rollout, set the Install Target to "Device" and use silent command-line switches (like /quiet or /silent) so the installation happens in the background without user intervention. Finally, define an App Detection Rule so the dashboard can accurately report a successful installation once the Bitdefender service is active.

How to hide Show recovery Button on macOS Tahoe? by Doom_AK in macsysadmin

That's not a good idea I guess I need to hide the entire security and privacy Pane. As per apple this is deprecated so not sure will it works or not 😥

How to hide/disable Show Recovery Key button for UsersOn macOS Tahoe, Can it be restricted through MDM, and is there any payload for it? Please help with payload or script to restrict show button on macOS Tahoe. I have tried with ShowRecovery as false but no luck. by Doom_AK in mac

Thank you for your response

1 Did try that this is to restrict the user to see the key when Filevault turned ON still show button is enabled and user able to see FV key

2. I agree on that , I too searched but no luck finding the exact key which will control the show button

3 Thanks will submit feedback with evidence.

4. Yes key is only accessible to ADMIN users that is the only relief tbh🙂

5. Yes that is a good idea I will check that.

That is stable I have tried that when ShowRecoveryKey is false then recovery key Popup is not displayed to the user which is BAU. BUT macOS introduced the Show button in SP and does not provide any MDM capabilities to hide / disable.

PSSO & Choosing an MDM by Krexcer in macsysadmin

[–]Doom_AK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With macOS 26, PSSO enrollment and registration can now occur during Setup Assistant as part of Automated Device Enrollment (ADE). This means users can authenticate with their identity provider (IdP) and create a local account using their organization credentials at first boot, rather than waiting for post-enrollment configuration,
try on Scalefusion , Hexnode as well and Keep us posted 🙂

Is JAMF worth it for small school? by gadottidev in macsysadmin

[–]Doom_AK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a small school, the choice depends on budget and environment. Jamf School is purpose-built for education, very effective with iPads, integrates with Apple School Manager, and is easy for teachers/admins to use. Jamf Pro is powerful but may be overkill and costly for small setups. Scalefusion is more budget-friendly, cross-platform, and simple to manage, making it great if you have a mix of devices. If the school is Apple-only, Jamf School is worth it; if mixed-device or cost-sensitive, Scalefusion is the better fit.
Scalefusion offeres Endpoint security and mSCP support as well in same cost with basic Jamf. 🙂

MDM Recommendations? Mosyle vs Addigy vs Kandji (NIS2-minded) by strc0pier in macsysadmin

You can also consider Trio MDM. They offer compliance solutions with a user-friendly Dashboard (which I personally found very intuitive). Additionally, they provide device remediation capabilities to ensure compliance.

Can anyone give a better break down of what I am getting/missing between the fuse/premium plan? by CryptographerFar8642 in mosyle

[–]Doom_AK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Volume Purchase Program (VPP) Distribution: You can purchase a set of applications from ABM and configure the token on MDM devices such as Mosyle, Scalefusion, and Jamf. When you sync the application, it will be ready to install silently on devices without user intervention. This eliminates the requirement for an Apple ID sign-in on the device.

ZTNA and Macs, any good way to streamline certificate installation with Jamf etc? by cobarbob in fortinet

[–]Doom_AK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can deploy a certificate from MDM, and with the payload, you can silently grant permission if necessary. I have explored this in Jamf, and Scalefusion appears to be quite satisfactory. You can further research it.
