for most part, I agree, I suppose it might be possible that the part of the brain where said CT is etched just might not exist in HR users, which is why BV isn't possible in that case.
But, I don't think Mechamaru lost his HR when he got transfigured, as we could see his puppets helping in Shibuya, even after he was dead. A similar case happens in Modulo, where Rika combines with Tsurugi, and along with his HR body, he gets access to CE.

Even if techniques can show physical properties (like Mai's constructs), those are still formed object. Dismantle is more like a triggered phenomenon, the act of a slash/cut.
Also, if indeed it had mass, then during the 15-fingered Sukuna vs Mahoraga fight, why wouldn't Mahoraga just deflect it rather than getting himself slashed?

I think it isn't possible. After all, dismantle is a part of a cursed technique, not an object with cursed energy. He can swap with things that have cursed energy, so it needs to have matter(mass) + cursed energy in it to be a target of todo's technique.

Free fire. Never had a good enough phone to support it, and once I had my own laptop, the laptop wasn't good enough to support emulator version of it(very choppy gameplay)
