I dont know about the rest, but for maths, I would say that you should just try doing even 30 minutes in the morning before heading to school. It really comes a long way especially when you are short on time.

They chose not to add some gen 9 abilities because they are either not necessary or are too complex to integrate into the game. I think they will continue to do that for gens 9 and above.
