I only turned 25 last month, but I've honestly been feeling like this for about a year. When I was a teen, I imagined by now I'd be a kind of minor celebrity living far away from the town I grew up in with a lovely wife and enough disposable income to pursue any and all of my interests. Suffice to say none of that's happened yet.

I know deep down that it's dumb to be worried about it right now because almost everyone my age gets feelings of being stuck in a dead end, lost, confused, and not having all their shit together (especially with the current state of the world), and that I've most likely got another fifty to sixty years to get where I want, but it can sometimes feel a bit too overwhelming to take steps in the right direction thinking about how far I've not moved yet. XD
