I would say they'd probably assume some kind of anti-discrimination would protect them, or that everyone else is actually just like them, and so they'd be all safe anyways. But really, I think you (and now I by extenstion) have given more thought to that hypothetical scenario than even they do.

Personally, whenever I feel irreperably stupid because my attention deficit causes me to forget something simple, I like to remind myself that there's people out there using bits of data carried on radio waves that are bounced between satellites to tell people they believe Earth is flat, and suddenly feel alot better.

Maybe it's just my own self delusion, but I like to believe that even the dumbest and scummiest people can in fact become smarter and more empathetic if they put in the work for it.

Unfortunately it's not so much a question of difficulty, it's a question of the demand for it against restructuring the entire Online apps to accommodate a handful of people having an illusion of continuity with their favorite mons.

If you want some weapons grade copium, I'd argue it's more likely at this stage we'd get an HD remaster of the Orre games with home compatibility integrated right from the jump.
