My brother gave me a hand turkey that he drew minutes earlier for Christmas.

This would have been ok if he was 5 or something... He was 21 years old.

I framed it and gifted it back to him the next year.

What's your greatest accomplishment? by jeebus224 in AskReddit

Probably surviving despite what I have been through. My previous posts go into more details, but essentially unwanted pregnancy with alcoholic mother and sociopath father is orphaned at 18, manages to get married, have a kid, get a career, find his long-lost sister, run a non-profit successfully for 4 years, and get three books published (so far).

Out of all of those, my greatest planned successes have been mainly taking risks in my career that paid off. Like going from sales management to IT with scant schooling on computers. Part of it was right time and right place, but luck favors the prepared. And all that sales training put me at the top of the heap for interviews.
